Results will be out in July. End of Summer term – Friday 17th July 2015 The school will finish at 1.30 pm for children in Y3, Transition 4 & 5 on Friday 17th July 2015. This is to allow Our transition program has already commenced for staff to spend the afternoon with the children in Y6. Y2 pupils who will be joining us in Y3 in Y6 children will finish school at 3.45pm. September. After the holidays we will roll this out to the rest of the school as well; announcing their Term dates for 2015/6 – inc inset days classes and starting transition projects with specific Term 1: Wednesday 2nd September to Friday 16th pupils. October 2015 (inc inset days on 1/9, 19/10, 20/10 & 21/10) The future of Girls football Term 2: Monday 2nd November to Friday 18th Yesterday evening the Y5 girls football December 2015 team played their first ever match Term 3: Monday 4th January to Friday 5th February against Stanbridge Primary school – it 2016 was an outstanding performance, Term 4: Monday 15th February to Wednesday 23rd winning 9-1 with 5 goals by Edie, and March 2016 one each by Grace, Amber, Quinta & Erin. Also a (inc inset day on 24/3) special mention for Molly from Y4 who played in Term 5: Monday 11th April to Friday 27th May 2016 goal and made many great saves. Well done girls! Term 6: Monday 6th June to Friday 22nd July 2016 Non-Uniform Day A reminder that next Friday - 22nd May - is a nonuniform day. In exchange the Friends will be collecting bottles for the Summer Festival. Friday is also the last day of this term, we all return to school on Monday 1st June. Head Lice We have a few cases of head lice around school again, particularly in Year 5. Please can you check your child’s hair and treat as appropriate. The local chemist can give you the latest advice on treatment Y4 Class Assemblies Class Assemblies are held on Fridays at 9.05 for approx. 25 minutes and you are very welcome to join us. 4W had their assembly this morning and Attendance Housepoints. the other two classes are as follows: We give out attendance housepoints 4C - Friday 12th June fortnight. 4B - Friday 26th June Y3/4 Brunel 98.05% 50 points Cabot 96.50% 30 points Scooters Wesley 97.40% 40 points Several parents have voiced concerns about children riding scooters across the school site in 96.60% 50 points the mornings before school, this seems to be Y5/6 Brunel Cabot 94.80% 30 points mainly pre-school children. Anyone can volunteer, you don’t have to have a food licence. Please see us in the hut if you would like to help. FRIDAY 5th CAKES (any kind) for the Abbots Cafe We have over 5000 flyers which need to be put in the morning please through every door in Hanham, Please even if you can only do your own street come and see us in Majestic’s are opening the show with the school the hut. musical bands and finishing it off with Desperado.
