Take the turning off the A12 roundabout signposted to Waldringfield, Newbourne,
Bucklesham and Brightwell. The Sale Site will be found a short distance to the north of the
Waldringfield Golf Club on the right hand side, a quarter of a mile to the south of the Moon
and Sixpence Caravan Site.
“To The Sale” signs will be in position on viewing and sale days and there is ample on-site
parking.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1 This Dispersal Auction takes place on behalf of Eastern Pig Contractors Limited due to the closure of their 4,000 pig
single source 7kg – 110kg finishing unit, much of which is now being used for light industrial purposes and pig
rearing / finishing is no longer compatible with this use. The unit includes a wide range of pig rearing and finishing
accommodation including 3 flat deck houses and 2 Lambert Geerken finishing houses of sectional construction that
could be dismantled and re-located and will provide many years of good quality finishing accommodation. The last
pigs left the unit on12th November 2014 and the premises and equipment have been largely power washed and
disinfected since then.
2 Export: If any lots are to be exported outside the EU, VAT will be charged and retained by the auctioneer until a
Customs Clearance note is secured. The VAT will then be refunded. If confirmation of export is not secured within
8 weeks, the VAT will be paid to the vendor and declared in the normal way. If lots are to be exported within the
EU proof of VAT registration number and confirmation of port for export will be required otherwise VAT will be
charged.
3 Removal of Lots: The site will be open for collection purposes on the sale day after the auction has finished. All
moveable equipment not collected on the day of the sale or the following day must be collected before Saturday
23rd May 2015, but buyers must contact Ian Johnson on 01473 736600 or 07733 225770 beforehand to arrange
access and Telehandler loading free of charge. Purchasers will have until Saturday 13th June 2015 to collect the
larger in situ items including bulk bins and feeding systems, but they must make their own arrangements to
dismantle and load these items.
Purchasers must comply with all Health & Safety, asbestos and other regulations as appropriate.
All fibre cement may contain asbestos unless indicated otherwise and all electrics have NOT BEEN TESTED and
therefore need isolating before handling and re-testing before use.
Health & Safety Notices will be posted in the Sale Office and copies are available if required or can be downloaded
from Peter Crichton’s website www.petercrichton.co.uk
All lots will be the purchaser’s responsibility at the fall of the hammer whether paid for or not and buyers are
advised to add all lots to their farm equipment insurance policy.

5 Number Bidding: All prospective purchasers must complete a Registration Form and register in the office on the
viewing day or morning of the sale to receive a number for bidding. PLEASE COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION
FORM BEFORE COMING TO THE SALE AND BRING IT TO THE SALE OFFICE AS THIS WILL SAVE
TIME.
6 Payment: If purchasers wish to pay by cheque and are not well known to the Auctioneer, then no lot will be
removed from the site until the cheque has cleared or without a suitable bank reference addressed to the Auctioneer
prior to the sale.
Payment can be made Credit/Debit Card, but please note there will be a 2.5% charge for Credit Card
payments, but no charge for Debit Cards.
7 Hours and Mileage: Are as at the time of cataloguing. V5 documents (where applicable) will only be supplied
after clearance of cheques or other payments.
8 Lot Measurements: All bins, tank sizes, and other measurements are approximate and buyers are advised to check
on their capacity as well as ensuring that the bins are empty before purchase.
