Dear ROSC Member, March 2015 "Making a Difference" The new year is going strong! This welloiled machine that is "life at Ramstein" is chugging along, working well and keeping us all busy. It's amazing how quickly it starts to pass by. Amazingly, it's March already, and soon it will be SPRING! One morning recently, I was driving my kids to school. In the middle of the morning hustle and bustle of the base, I noticed a C130 fly overhead. Its presence was an immediate reminder to me of the larger mission here at Ramstein. As I sat there watching it fly over, I consecutively noticed all the activity below it. Cars were driving to work, parents were dropping of their kids, and people were starting their workday. I pondered how everything works together to support and make the mission happen. In watching and pondering, my heart was filled with pride for all that's happening here, and I was thrilled that I get to play my part in it. ROSC, the things we do for our spouses, our families, our neighbors and our community make a difference. It's often in hindsight that we notice the impact that we made on others and others made on us, but I see it now! I'm excited to notice the ways, large and small, that we impact our base, our community and the world. Keep up the good work you do everyday... your daily contribution helps keep this "machine" running and doing all the good that it does. https://ui.constantcontact.com/visualeditor/visual_editor_preview.jsp?agent.uid=1120213430106&format=html&printFrame=true 2/18 3/31/2015 Your ROSC Newsletter for MARCH!
