ur work is as vital and urgent as it was when Rights of
Women was established in 1975.
Without it, women continue to experience violence, abuse and
discrimination and cannot play an equal role in society.
The law is complex and confusing. We want to make sure that
at some of the most difficult times in their lives women have
access to clear and accessible information about the law and
their legal rights.
We deliver a range of high quality and accessible services aimed
at increasing women’s understanding of the law and ability to
seek justice.

representation, our advice lines provide a safe space for women to talk
about their situation and receive expert legal advice to enable them to
make important decisions about their future.

provide high quality and practical training and events to professionals

We know that the law still needs to change to meet the needs of
women and to end the violence, abuse and discrimination they
experience. We campaign to improve the legal rights and remedies
available to women and their access to them.
Rights of Women has over the decades done really

women – which have for so long been ignored by
the mainstream.
