The goal of this notice is to invite interested parties to participate early in the decision-making process by submitting comments in writing during the open comment period. Type II decisions are made by the Community Development Director after consideration of relevant evidence and public comments received during the open comment period. The decision will be mailed to the applicant and to owners of property located within 500 feet of the proposal site and anyone who submitted written comments or is otherwise entitled to a decision notice. The decision maker may: • Approve the proposal. • Approve the proposal with conditions. • Deny the proposal. All evidence considered in the decision will be contained in the public record and available for public review.
