Robert Walker
Job: Assistant manager SGA Bookstore.
Joined SRU: 1997.
Background: I received my bachelor’s of education
degree from Slippery Rock University and associate’s
degree in applied science from Butler County Community
College. I worked in Radio Shack management before joining SRU. In the bookstore, I am responsible for staff PC
upgrades and assistance and store server upgrades and
maintenance.
Person(s) I’d like to have dinner with: U.S.
President Abraham Lincoln, Roberto Clemente, the late
Pittsburgh Pirates baseball player, and comedian Jerry
Seinfeld.
Why I work for The Rock: Working with great
people on a beautiful campus at the school where I had
some great years – what’s better than that. I have enjoyed
watching how the campus has evolved, and yet retained the
traditional charm.
