Joseph Tokarczyk and Staff A Prayer for the Easter Season Begin with the Sign of the Cross: Risen Lord, We greet you with joy this Easter season and we thank you for the gift of new life. Bless our food, our family and our friends, And help us to celebrate the springtime in our hearts as we rejoice in the good news of your Resurrection. Alleluia! Amen. Conclude with the Sign of the Cross. April 5-Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord John 20:1-9: This Easter Gospel tells us that Mary Magdalene was the first person to learn what happened to Jesus. Seeing that the stone had been moved from the tomb, she ran to tell Simon Peter and the other disciple, who hurried to the tomb and discovered only the cloths that had covered Jesus’ body. They knew that Jesus had risen from the dead. You, too, have good news about Jesus. What do you do about it? WEEKLY COLLECTION The bulletin was sent in on March 27.
