A Chalk in the Park Artist Form 2015
Please join Salinas Circle for Children this year as an artist and help our non-profit
organization continue to raise funds for special needs children in Monterey County. We are
excited that A Chalk in the Park, a Chalk Art Contest and Festival that include music, great
food, wonderful vendors and a children’s carnival.

This Year’s A Chalk in the Park:

Will be held May 2nd, 2015 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Spreckels Park
Check in begins at 7:00am and please arrive no later than 9:00am
If you are unable to attend, please inform Salinas Circle as soon as possible
Squares are not assigned and will be a first come, first serve basis (all artists will receive a
square)
Single square is 4 1/2’ by 5’ of sidewalk space & Double square is 9’ by 5’ sidewalk space
• Please indicate if you would like to draw a single or double square in the artist form
You may receive a sponsor name the day of the event to include the name on your square
Artwork may not have any nudity, profanity or gang insignias since this is a family friendly
event
Materials are not provided by A Chalk in the Park (back-up chalk will be onsite)
• Any chalk is acceptable but no oil based products
• No aerosol sprays (including sealers, hairspray)
Will your artwork be the favorite??
The visitors of A Chalk in the Park will vote for their favorite
Chalk Art Design and YOU could be the winner!!

People’s Choice will receive $300.00
Runner Up will receive $200.00
