customers in more than 200 countries and our websites include pamediakopes.gr, my trip.com, trip.ru,

At this stage our dynamically growing team consists of 150 people of more than 8 nationalities, all with
the passion to make a difference. Our IT team of 27 members is currently looking for Ruby developers to
join their ranks. We enjoy challenges, we have no dress code, we party often and we even occasionally
feed the trolls.
Position Summary
We are looking for passionate senior Front end developers to join the team responsible for our products,
actively participate in the development of new projects and support our current systems. The successful
candidate must be eager to work in a fast-paced environment & ready to actively contribute to the teams
development.
Responsibilities
● ​
You will be a responsible team member, designing and implementing features across our
systems
● You and your team will deliver weekly releases, as well as estimate subsequent sprints
● You will be reviewing code, and your code will be reviewed
● Develop and recommend changes to existing layouts, functionality & procedures to increase
accuracy & efficiency of your team and department as a whole
● You will meddle with various technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, Memcached, Redis, Solr,
Linux Servers, jQuery, Jasmine, Rspec, Cucumber, Google Analytics and any other innovative
technology
● You will participate in a stand-up meeting with your team every morning, enjoying a hot cup of
coffee
● You will help give us an edge in The Struggle for World Domination™ (or just to improve our stack)
Qualifications
● You are a Front end developer with 3+ years of experience
● You possess immense understanding of Javascript best practices, pitfalls and you are familiar
with scripting for all major browsers
● You have a good understanding of Ajax operations

You are comfortable working with Git using the command line
You have extensive experience using jQuery and jQueryUI, as well as implementing plug-ins
You have extensive CSS and HTML browser compatibility knowledge
You have demonstrable experience with: JSON / JSONP, Foundation or Bootstrap, Compass or a
similar framework, Using web fonts and Font Awesome, SASS, LESS or some other CSS
pre-processing variant

● You can present your thoughts and ideas to an audience as well as incorporate feedback into a
working solution
● You are a team player, keen to learn, and share your knowledge effectively with the rest of your
team
● You speak fluent English
● You have a legal permit to work in Greece & have no military obligations
Awesome but not necessary
● You sleep with Javascript: The Good Parts under your pillow, or you’re able to recite it from
memory
● You are familiar with one or more JS unit testing frameworks
● You have some back-end coding experience, especially with an MVC framework (Rails,
CodeIgniter, ASP.NET MVC 2+, etc)
● You understand and have employed JS frameworks like Angular and Backbone
