Dear Parents,
Can you believe that the
school year is almost over?
We have less than 30
school days left to go
before summer
vacation. Please help us by
reminding your child that it
is important to continue to
concentrate on studies and
behave in class.
We are planning promotion
/retention meetings for
students. If you have any
questions communicate with
your child’s teacher.
It is starting to get hot so
please remind your child to
drink plenty of liquids and
be careful of the outside
heat.

Donations Needed
As you are cleaning out old
clothes, please think about
donating any Elbert uniform
shirts, shorts, or pants. By
the end of the year, we
are out of these items to
use for our students. And
if you would like to donate
any NEW underwear or
socks, we would greatly
appreciate it.
On the
Artist’s Easel
The Polk Museum of Art
is now offering a satellite
summer art camp this
year at the Chain of
Lakes complex!!! Scholarships are available, please
contact Mrs. Helms at

for scholarship
information and details.
Camp will be offered at
the Museum in Lakeland
all summer, and the
Winter Haven camp will
only be offering a one
time session from July
13th-24th.
School wide art show will
be Tuesday, May 21st,
from 6-7 pm in the
cafeteria prior to the
music performance.
