Category Name: SDN Technology of the Year
The “SDN Technology of the Year” award is open to those service or solution providers who have
initiated a unique, innovative, exemplary SDN technology product or system, capable of
revolutionising the way their business or their customers’ businesses works, setting the way for
others to follow.
Candidates should define their success and provide the necessary documentation to describe and
support their applications. Supporting documentation should include all KPIs necessary to provide
evidence and explain why their product should be considered “SDN Technology of the Year”.
While specific KPIs are useful for the judges to make an informed decision, the winner will be
selected on the basis of the quality of their services/ business, not by simply comparing KPIs.
Ultimately the collective experience of the judging panel will be the discerning criteria for the
winning entry.
Q1: What is the brand name of your product / service /company?
Q2: Is this a joint entry? If so, who are the partnering organisations?
Q3: Please describe as simply as possible the nature of the product /service / solution / business and
the user proposition e.g. How does the service work and how does it help operators? / How does the
service work for the end users?
Q4: When was the product or solution commercially launched or trials started, and in which markets
is it currently available?
Q5: Please describe the specific of why this service deserves to win the award as “SDN Technology of
the Year”. What is new or unique about the entry and what are the key benefits for client (s) as a
result?
Q6: Please give additional background information to support your entry. For example, why is it
good value for your customers and, specifically what evidence is there that the solution has helped
operator customers?
Q7: Please provide KPI information to support your entry.
Q8: Provide a few examples (no more than 2) of operators that you're enabling and how you're
meeting their unique/special requirements.
