April 20, 2015 SEAHOLM HIGH SCHOOL – AM Announcements 4-17-15 Riley: Broadcasting from Studio B201, this is the Seaholm Daily Bulletin for Monday, April 20th, 2015 with Maddie Ramfos and Jamie Greene. Lily: Thanks Riley and good morning Seaholm! Lily: Varsity baseball swept Clarkston over the weekend winning 6-5 in game one and 11-2 in game 2. In game 1, Liam Neel pitched a solid 5 innings, Alex Hackert recorded the Win and Tucker Pfaff got the save. In game 2, Freshman Justin Miller went 5 innings, getting the win. Next up is a home Double Header today against league rival Farmington. Game time is 4:00. Lily: Auditions for the 6th Annual One Act Festival will be held on April 23rd and 24th from 3pm-5pm in the Little Theatre. Students from all levels of experience are welcome. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to perform in an original play written and directed by Seaholm students. Contact Amanda Najor, McKenna Ross, or Mr. LaBond if you have any questions. Lily: There is a Black student union meeting on Thursday. school in A105. Everyone is welcome! Meet after Lily: Seaholm Girls Speak Up will also be meeting this week. Meet on Wednesday at 7:45 am in g103. Lily: Juniors are invited to attend the final college workshop taking place next Wednesday during xblock in the Little Theatre. A rep from the University of Michigan will be speaking about the common app and answering questions about admissions. No sign up is needed to attend. Lily: Summer is just around the corner! Now is the time to start looking at all the great opportunities for community service over the vacation. Applications to be a summer camp counselor for Safety Town are due May 13th. Summer in the City, Miracle League, Farmer’s Market and Oakland County Parks and Rec are just a few of the fun places to volunteer. Stop by the Community Service Office to pick up the list of summer service opportunities.
