One Stop Center
This clinic offers a wide array of services for the
homeless and those at risk for homelessness.
Located in the Public Health building at
3147 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. It is open
every Tuesday 10:00AM to 1:00PM. Call

Self-Pay Discount Program
Patients who have no insurance coverage and
who are not eligible for any of the other available
programs may apply for discounted rates. Please

What Might I Qualify For?
This brochure contains information on a broad range of programs available within our County.
There is a program for everyone.
Health Care for Kids:
Health Care for Kids helps get children enrolled on an
insurance plan, such as Medi-Cal, Healthy Families and
other health care services. There is no charge to have
Health Care for Kids help apply for insurance programs. For more information, to schedule an appointment, or

ACE Program For Adults:
ACE Program For Kids:
This program allows residents of Ventura County to
obtain medical services only from Ventura County
Medical Center, Santa Paula Hospital, obtain primary,
preventative and specialty care services from Ventura
County medical clinics and VCMC’s affiliated clinics,
and primary and preventative care services from
Clinicas Del Camino Real clinics. ACE for Adults is
not medical insurance, but a program that covers
routine doctor visits, X-rays, lab work, urgent care
and emergency room visits, mental health visits and
prescription drugs—all with a minimal co-pay. You
must qualify for this program.
Offers eligible uninsured children medical services at limited
cost at VCMC and all County clinics. Eligibility criteria is as
follows: 0-18 years of age, if school age, must attend school.
May also be enrolled in CHDP, CCS or Emergency Medi-Cal.
Family income cannot exceed 300% federal poverty level.

Healthy Families:
You can apply for this program if you are:
• Over 19 and under 65 years of age
• A US citizen or permanent resident
• Live in Ventura County
CCS (California Children’s Services):
California Children’s Services (CCS) is a state program for
children with certain diseases or health problems. Through
this program, children up to 21 years of age can get the
health care and services they need for specific conditions.
These conditions include: cleft palate, leukemia, cancer, heart
conditions, complications due to premature birth, cerebral
palsy, and uncontrolled or difficult to control diabetes.
• You are not pregnant
• Must be under 21 years of age with an eligible
condition or disease
• Have no other coverage or program eligibility
• Must be a California resident
• At a family income level at or under 200% of
the federal poverty level
• Must meet family income guidelines

CDP (Cancer Detection Program)
Every Woman Counts- This program is for women in need
of a mammogram but do not have medical insurance. Once
diagnosed this program may assist with treatment expenses.

CHDP (Child Health and Disability Prevention)
This program provides “Well Child” check-ups including,
immunizations, physicals, dental, vision, hearing, lead/
anemia/TB exams. This program is for low-income children
through designated providers. For more information contact

2 (CHDP) or call (805) 981-5291.

This program provides medical, dental and vision benefits
for uninsured children under the age of 19 for as little as
$9 a month. To qualify for Healthy Families you must be
under 19 years of age, a United States citizen or permanent
resident, and reside in California. You must meet the established income limitations.

Family PACT (Planning, Access,
Care and Treatment) Program:
Designed to assist eligible patients with family planning
methods, including reproduction health care screening.
Only enrolled Family PACT providers may determine
eligibility. This Program covers: Out-patient procedures
related to family planning, contraceptive pills or devices,
spermicides, and male and female condoms. In order to
qualify you must:
• Reside in California
• Gross income under 200% federal poverty level
• Must be at risk of pregnancy
• No other coverage
• Females must be under 55 years of age
