HOW TO LOG IN TO THE BS&K NETWORK REMOTELY For our users who are using XP Home or XP Professional at home to access their computer, please follow these new instructions: 1. On your home computer, click Start All Programs Communications Remote Desktop Connection Accessories 2. Type mypc.lawasp.net into the Computer Name box and click Connect: 1325066.1 7/16/2007 3. At the Log-On To Windows Server 2003 screen, enter your bsk username and password: ***If THIS IS THE FIRST TIME YOU ARE USING YOUR KEYFOB, PLEASE FOLLOW THE “HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN KEYFOB PIN” INSTRUCTIONS FIRST BEFORE CONTINUING*** 4. RSA Secur Id Authentication - Enter your passcode as follows: o o FIRST: Enter the 4 digit pin that you created SECOND: Enter your key fob token number (immediately after the pin number) Press OK. No blanks or spaces between the pin number and the key fob token. 1325066.1 7/16/2007 5. When you get to the below screen, if there is anything in the boxes, delete it 1325066.1 7/16/2007 6. Fill in the User name field with your username followed by @bsk.com (Ex. [email protected]) Note: this is not necessarily your e-mail address Fill in the password field with your normal network password Check the checkbox that says “Remember my password” Click OK 1325066.1 7/16/2007 7. Check the “Don’t prompt me again for connections to this computer” check box and click OK Log onto your computer as normal When finished, simply click Start, Log Off to log off your work computer and return to your home computer.
