How to Consign with us?
Worn with LUV accepts name brand, gently worn children’s clothing, newborn through size 8. Maternity, baby equipment, nursery
furniture and toys are also taken on consignment. Consignments are accepted during the week (Wed-Fri) by appointment for your first drop off. We
ask that you limit each drop off to 30-40 items.
After your first time consigning with Worn with LUV, all consignments are accepted on a “drop and run” system. During your first drop
off, you will note whether you are a “donate” or a “return” consignor. When we process your bins, if you are a “return”, we will put the items we are
not accepting for sale back in your bin and you can pick them up. Any “return” items not picked up within the 14-day time frame of the date
you are notified will be donated. If you are a “donate”, we will simply donate those items that we do not consider to be sellable. Please don’t be
offended if we say “no thank you” to items you have asked to consign. You may have some great brands, but the style, wear or age of the clothing
may prevent us from accepting them.

The CLOTHING consignment period is 90 days. Clothing will sell at full price for 30 days. It will then be automatically
discounted 20% and 40% each 30 day period. Consignors receive 50% of the selling price. Prices are determined by Worn
with LUV and are approximately 35-50% of the original sales price.
The TOYS, EQUIPMENT and FURNITURE consignment period is 60 days. Items will sell at full price for 20 days.
They will then be automatically discounted 10% and 20% each 20 day period. Consignors receive 40% of the selling
price. Prices are determined by Worn with LUV and are approximately 50% of original sales prices, based on age and
condition.
The BOOK consignment period is 120 days. Items will sell at full price for 40 days. They will then be automatically
discounted 20% and 40% each 40 day period. Consignors receive 40% of the selling price. Prices are determined by Worn
with LUV and are approximately 35% of original sales prices, based on age and condition.
A tagging fee will be added to each item to help defray operating costs. The consignor’s balance is not affected and these fees
will not be reflected on your item list.
You will receive a pick-up notification for all unsold merchandise via an e-mail from Worn with LUV prior to your pick-up
date. All unsold merchandise not picked up within the 15-day time frame of the date you are notified with, becomes the
property of Worn with LUV and will be disposed of at management discretion. Merchandise may not be picked up during
any other time during the 120 day/90 day/60 day time frame. Items that are picked up prior to the 15-day time frame are
subject to a $5 processing fee.
There is an annual consigning fee of $10.00. Fees will be deducted from your account at time of consignment and then will
be deducted yearly sometime during your yearly renewal month. These fees help to cover the initial account set-up and
account maintenance. This fee also helps to cover the online access to your consignor account.
Automatic monthly checks will be processed at the beginning of each month, for those accounts with a minimum $25.00
balance. Balances less than $25.00 may use their account as a store credit, or can wait for a check to be mailed when their
account balance reaches a $25.00. Checks must be used within 90 days from date issued. Worn with LUV is not responsible
for lost checks. Stop payment fees for lost checks will be the responsibility of the consignor. Stop payment fees will be due
in advance if a stop payment is requested. Stop payments fees are $40.00 per check. Replacement checks will be issued 48
hours after a stop payment is issued by our bank.
Although all possible care will be taken of your merchandise, Worn with LUV is not responsible for theft, damage, or
lost items; however, Worn with LUV will do their utmost to protect the merchandise and to ensure a happy consignor.

Clothing Guidelines:






Clothing over 4 years old will not be accepted. Some items have dates on their tags. Some items you can tell how old it is by
the logo on the tags. This policy is in an effort to conform to the “lead” guidelines of Consumer Product Safety Improvement
Act.
Clothing must be seasonal:
o Spring/Summer - tees, tanks, shorts, swimwear, sandals, light jackets, etc.
 Swimwear should not have any tears, frays or stains
o Fall/Winter - Long sleeved shirts, sweaters, jeans and corduroys, boots, coats, etc.
 Gloves must be paired with their partners.
Clothing must be clean and freshly laundered: We will not accept clothing that is stained, soiled, spotted, dusty, smelling
of smoke or mildew, or items with lint or pet hair. Even clean clothing that has been in storage needs to be freshened.
Clothing must be in good salable condition: We prefer clothing that shows very little age and wear. Watch for fading of
dark or bright colors. Knits (sweaters, baby sleepers, even tee shirts) tend to pill or get fuzzy after a few washings. Decals
and appliqués should not be cracked, curled, or peeling. Knees should not be worn or faded. Pants should not have frayed
hems. All buttons, snaps, and zippers should be in good working condition. Velcro should be free of lint.
Please use care when packing your items. Bring clothing in neatly organized (having matching sets together) and placed in a
plastic storage tub. To reduce wrinkling and crushing, neatly fold them in a plastic medium sized tub is preferable.
Plastic bags and garbage bags are not acceptable.
Shoes must be clean (bottoms, too!) and polished. They should have a good tread, shoestrings/straps, non-smelly, and able to
read shoe size and brand.
Toys Guidelines





Toys must be CLEAN! Wipe down all surfaces with bleach or a Lysol-type cleaner.
Electronic toys must have fresh batteries. Games must have all pieces and the original box. Instructions must be included. If
you do not have the instructions, please download a copy from the internet.
If we have to put batteries in items, we will charge your consignment account (AA or AAA = $0.25, C or D = $0.50, 9-volt or
button cell = $1.00) per battery we have to put in an item.
Books must be in like-new condition. No dog-ears, creases, rips, water damage, dirt, or writing.
DVDs must be in the original box. We will sell DVD with ratings of G, PG and PG-13 only. NO VHS movies will be
accepted.
Baby Equipment Guidelines



We accept walkers, swings, high chairs, boosters, strollers, bouncer seats, car seats, potty chairs, play pens (pack n play), bath
tubs/seats, sleeping/feeding aids, home safety items and more! Please call if you are not sure.
All items must be CLEAN! Please remove any fabric pads or covers and machine wash them. Wipe down all surfaces with
bleach or a Lysol-type cleaner. Then put it all back together.
All equipment must have the original manufacturer's label with model number and date code. Include batteries if needed.
Make sure all parts are included. Car seats must be under four years old.
Furniture Guidelines



All furniture must be clean and in good condition, and have the original manufacturer's label with model number and date
code. Due to recent massive recalls, we do NOT accept cribs at all.
Changing tables must be assembled. We also accept bassinettes, cradles, toy boxes, lamps, child-sizes tables, chairs, desks,
and small dressers or chests of drawers.
