How to communicate Sustainability to the stakeholders? To the media? And
to the public? As Austria’s market leader in the food and drugstore retail sector REWE Group started to implement strong communications regarding
Sustainability. Responsible action in the sense of community is part of the
corporate culture of the REWE Group with its co-operative organisation. The
REWE Group pursues specific economic targets. At the same time, the Group
recognises its considerable commitment to the environment, society and its
employees. The REWE Group is convinced that it can only continue to grow
in the long term if it preserves resources, works with both its employees and

ABOUT THE REGIONAL DEBATES
EACD Regional Debates bring together public relations and communications professionals from different European regions for informative discussions and great networking opportunities.
By organising debates and presentations on contemporary communications issues to members across Europe, the EACD shares the accumulated knowledge of its members across the
continent, strengthening its network in the process. Hosted by EACD members, these events take a variety of forms and normally feature best case presentations, workshops, panel and
round table discussions. At the end of each event there is always time set aside for attendees to relax wih refreshments and network with peers.
