CPF Quick Guide Release 1.0 November 2008 How to Create Payment Advice To create payment advice, click on Payment Advice Create. Diagram 1 will be displayed as shown below. There are 2 options: - Create New – Refer to Option A o To create a new payment Advice - Duplicate a Payment Advice – Refer to Option B o To duplicate a copy of payment Advice for previous months OR Diagram 1 1. Select all mandatory fields (are denoted by an asterisk ‘*’)in Step 1. You can either: - Click on the button to go back to the Provident And Tax – Web Main Menu OR - Click on the button to proceed after chosen the options. If the CPF Submission Number selected has more than 1 Employee group, then select the Employee Group accordingly, as shown in Diagram 2. Diagram 2 2. Click on the button to next screen- Diagram 3 as shown in next page. Diagram 3 3. In Diagram 3, you will need to answer 2 compulsory questions:- Q1) Do you have any new employers? Please refer to Option A1, page 4-8. 5. 1st & 2nd questions, if you select option ‘Yes’. Please refer to Option A2, page 4-10. 6. 1st question, if you select option ‘Yes’ & 2nd question, you select option ‘No’. Please refer to Option A3, page 4-16. 7. 1st question, if you select option ‘No’ & 2nd question, if you select option ‘Yes’. This will auto-populate all the existing employees into the payment advice else you will need to manually select the employees and add it to the payment advice.- Please refer to Option A4, page 4-25. 8. Then Click on the button to proceed. Option A1 – 1st & 2nd questions = ‘No’ Diagram 4 will be displayed. To proceed to submit, click on the button to submit the payment advice to CPF. This will bring you to Diagram 9 with the submission status. Note that the Payment Advice of this will have a status of ‘R’eady OR - Click on button to return to previous screen without submitting. Diagram 6 In Diagram 6, Under Part 1- Summary Information, system computes and displays the CPF Contribution total of all the employees plus various levy, donation or fund. The data is editable on these fields, and then click on the Total Amount Paid to reflect the latest figures. If you “DO NOT HAVE SUBMISSION RIGHT” A Document Reference No will be autogenerated as shown in Diagram 7 below. Diagram 7 9. If you “HAVE SUBMISSION RIGHT” A Document Reference No will be auto-generated with the message on whether to submit the Payment Advice to CPF, as shown in Diagram 8 below. Diagram 8 10. Click the button to submit the payment advice to CPF. The CPF Payment Advice Submission Status page is displayed and the status of the payment advice will be reflected as R’eady. OR - Click on the button, which will go back to Diagram 1 where you can create another payment advice. Note that Payment advice status will thus be reflected as ‘C’omplete. Diagram 4 - Click on the button to go back to Diagram 1 where you could create another payment advice. • Select Option B – Duplicate A Payment Advice the radio button , then click on button to proceed This will bring you to Diagram 2. Click on the button to go back to Diagram 1 where you can create another payment advice without submitting. Note: Payment advice will thus be reflected as ‘D’raft. Diagram 7 2.
