SafeAssign - How to log on Tip sheet Plagiarism in Theses & Dissertations: Avoiding it The “Plagiarism in Theses and Dissertations: Avoiding it” site has been designed for QUT Higher Degree Research students and is solely accessed through Blackboard. Different users have different methods of access. It is recommended that you use Mozilla Firefox as your browser to navigate within Blackboard. SUPERVISORS: To log in to Blackboard start by selecting the Staff Gateway of the QUT website and clicking on QUT Blackboard. You will need your username and Access password. This will direct you to the Blackboard homepage. At the top of the page select Unit Finder This will give you access to the Blackboard search engine. Type in “Plagiarism in Theses and Dissertations”. This will open up the site. HDR STUDENTS: To log in to Blackboard start by selecting the Student Gateway of the QUT website and clicking on QUT Blackboard. You will need your username and Access password. This will direct you to the Blackboard homepage. If the site is not listed under “My Units” please contact your Faculty Research Administration area for assistance.
