How to Transfer Libraries on CD-ROM to Mainframe to Restore How to transfer HULFT installation libraries on CD-ROM to restore them are explained below: Start File Transfer from CD-ROM to Mainframe Refer to 2.1 in this document Restore Transferred Files Refer to 2.2 in this document Refer to 2.3 in this document Work explained in Installation Manual Figure 2 Restoring Procedure 2.1 File Transfer from CD-ROM to Mainframe You should transfer the files stored on CD-ROM to Mainframe. Use the tools such as FTP or HULFT to transfer the files. When transferring them, make sure you specify binary transfer without fail. For the data set created on Mainframe at transfer destination, refer to "Table 3 Data Set Format on Transfer Destination." Note that discrepancy in record length or block length causes unsuccessful restoring of the libraries. Refer to "Chapter 1 Overview” in HULFT Mainframe Type OS390-E Ver.6 Installation Manual for the work from this point forward. If you are requested to restore the libraries from CMT, convert them to HULFT installation libraries. You can find the procedure in 2.2 in this document. [Example of Modification of JCL Provided in Installation Manual (When implementing level upgrade or revision upgrade)] Replace the description which is given as input from CMT to the restored HULFT installation library.
