Q1000 Qwest Wireless N VDSL Modem Router from Actiontec 5 Step The instructions below are for the Q1000 Qwest Wireless N VDSL Modem Router with QAQ01-31.00L.29 firmware. Go to "4. Select a key/passphrase type below". Then click the button next to “Use Custom Key/Passphrase. Select the type of WEP Key that you want: 64/40 bit or 128/108 bit. Things You’ll Need Step • Q1000 Qwest Wireless N VDSL Modem Router • Computer connected to the Router Now enter a new password or WEP Key. If you selected 64/40 bit, your key must be 10 characters long. If you selected 128/108 bit, your key must be 26 characters long. All characters must be hexidecimal, i.e A-F or 0-9. 1 Step On any computer that is connected to the Internet, type http://192.168.0.1 in the web browser window and then press Enter. 2 6 7 Step Write down your new wireless network name and password.Then click Apply. Step Click Wireless Setup. Congratulations!
