How to Login to Edit Your Chapter Pages
Type or copy the unique url address into your web browser. Save to Favorites.

Click the “Login” button. After clicking “Login,” the username and password box
pops-up. Type your username and password. If you type the wrong user name
and/or password three times, the system will lock the login. You will need to
contact the WTS office to unlock.
After typing your username and login, click “Login.” Now click the link “WTS
Home Page”
Once on the WTS Home page, select Chapters and then select your chapter
from the drop down menu.

Your chapter “Welcome” page should have 3 buttons located under “Welcome.”

To edit the page. click the “Edit” button. After editing, be sure to publish the
posting. Don’t click “Save.” The page will not post if you click “Save” and the
page is locked for future editing. You will need to contact the WTS office to
unlock the page.

A content editing screen, very similar to Word, appears. Type in text or copy and
paste from a word document.

How to Upload Files and Images to Chapter Web Pages
An important editing feature to note is the icon called “Open Library”. This is
where you store files and images you want to post on your chapter pages. To
upload a document, click the “Open Library” button.

Once you open the library, the page defaults to images. When uploading a file,
where it says “Images”, click the arrow for the drop down menu. Select “Files”.

Once you select “Files” from the drop down menu, this screen appears.

To add a file, click the icon that looks like 3 bookends with a “+” sign

Give the document a title and then locate the file. Click the same icon (3 books
“+” sign) to save and upload the file. Please note: files larger than 4MB will not
upload.

The document will automatically create a hyperlink to the file based on the
location of the cursor.
If the document loads in an area you don’t want, then highlight the title and press
delete.

If you want to hyperlink the document to text in the content area, highlight the text
and then go back to “Open Library, “Select “Files” from the drop down menu.

Then double click on the file you want to hyperlink.

The text you highlighted is now a link to the uploaded document.
You follow these same steps for uploading and posting an image. Place the
cursor where you want the image to be placed. If the image is placed in an area
you don’t want, simply delete the image. Then, place the cursor in the area you
want the image and select “Open Library” and double click the image. Or you
have the option of inserting a thumbnail.
All pages except Job Bank, Events, and News follow these same formatting
procedures. Job Bank, Events and News are customized templates. And there
are different steps to follow and you can not upload files or images within the
content area of the customized templates.

If the image is too large or small, click the icon “Image Properties” and change
the dimensions.

How to Add an Event (News, Job Bank)
Select Events from the menu on the left and click the “Edit” button.
Please note: You follow these same steps for adding an event to adding a news
item in ‘News” and a job opening in “Job Bank.”

Click the “Add Event” link at the bottom of the page.

Fill in all the text boxes (title, date, location, description and additional content)
and make sure you click the “Live” button. This will publish the content to the web
page in real time once you hit “Insert” below the ‘Live” check box.

The event has been added to the Events table.

And also posted to the web page.

How to Hyperlink to Web Pages
Select the corporate partner page. From the menu on the left. Click the “Edit”
button.
You can also hyperlink to web pages within the content section of other chapter
pages. i.e the Welcome page, Document Library. It is not restricted to the
Corporate Partner page. The Corporate Partner page is being used for
demonstration purposes only.

Highlight the company name

Select the “Create Link” button. It looks like a globe with a paper clip.

A “Link Editor” window pops-up. Type in the url address for the company starting
with “http://”. If you would like the website to open in a new window, from the drop
down menu in the ‘Target” area, select “New Window (blank)”

The company name is now linked to the company’s home page.
