At this point you can share your own profile with anyone you allow to see your photos. 3. Web Profiles provide an easy way to follow other users, comment and like photos or edit your profile. You can click on a follower and if their profile is not set to private, you can also view their pictures. If they are set to private you can also request to follow them. 6. Web Profiles will make it easier to browse and share content on the web for all users. GEOTAGGING PICTURES ON INSTAGRAM You’ve made your photos private and “Geotagging” is set to off. But each time you take a photo, you have the option to share your photo with facebook, twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, etc. and all you have to do is tap the option Add to your Photo Map and with a tap, it is back on. It does give them one more chance to say “Don’t allow”, but how easy is it to say OK because they want their map to be cool. HOW TO DELETE AN INSTAGRAM PHOTO When you first started were some of your pictures less than perfect and now you want to delete your old photos on Instagram? Or just want to delete one of your not so popular uploaded photos from your Instagram account? GEOTAGGING /TAGGING PICTURES Geotagging (also written as GeoTagging) is the process of adding geographical identification metadata to various media such as a geotagged photograph or video, websites, SMS messages, QR Codes or RSS feeds and is a form of geospatial metadata. - In layman’s terms – it adds location to your photo, data, etc. Originally developed to help 9-1-1 operators assist in emergency situations where only a cell phone existed. Go to facebook.com/settings or click the gear icon in the upper right corner of your Facebook page. 2. Go to the Timeline and Tagging tab 3. On the third group of options, titled “How can I manage tags people add and tagging suggestions?” edit the option which says “Who sees tag suggestions when photos that look like you are uploaded?” 4. Change it to “No One” After those steps, Facebook won’t index your profile anymore which means you won’t be automatically suggested to be tagged in your friends’ photos.
