The repertoire represents a wide range of the most important Israeli composers, spanning the last thirty years: musicians such as Alexander (Sasha) Argov, Neomi Shemer, Matti Caspi, Yoni Rechter, Nahum Hayman, Shlomo Gronich, and others whose work has mapped out my musical journey. The project resulted from my strong desire to learn to play the songs that inspired me during my own formative years; songs that I consider to form a core element in the Israeli song repertoire. The lack of an appropriate guide compelled me to try to arrange the songs myself, and that is how a long and fascinating journey began. During that journey I grew a lot as a guitar player and as an arranger. I also arrived at the decision to produce a book that might allow me to share that experience with other guitar players, within and outside Israel, who wish to be able to play these timeless songs. Each arrangement has been considerably elaborated, and includes tablature and names of chords, in addition to the notes. You can also find an illustration of special chord fingerings at the beginning of the book. A CD recording of the arrangements, played by me, is enclosed. Remember to practice in slow tempo and not to rush too early into fast-tempo playing. I also find that practising the more complex parts in each arrangement separately can be very helpful. Feel free to add your own ideas, and always remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day… I will be glad to answer your questions and receive your comments. Hagai [email protected] www.hagairehavia.com 6 פתח דבר גיטריסטים יקרים! ספר זה הוא החלק הראשון בסידרת ספרי ״גיטרה ישראלית״. הרפרטואר מייצג מגוון רחב של יוצרים בזמר העברי כגון מתי כספי, שלמה גרוניך ,יוני רכטר ,שלום חנוך ,סשה ארגוב ,נעמי שמר,ועוד רבים אחרים, ששיריהם המרגשים הם נכסי צאן ברזל בתרבות הישראלית. ספרי התווים הישראליים שנכתבו לגיטרה מעטים מאד,ורובם עוסקים במתודות לימוד בשיטה הקלאסית ,או בשיטות ליווי שונות ,אך אף ספר לא עסק בנגינת סולו של רפרטואר ישראלי. חסרונו של ספר כזה ,המריץ ואילץ אותי ליצור עיבודים לשירים ,וכך התחלתי מסע ארוך ומרתק במהלכו צמחתי והתפתחתי הן כגיטריסט והן כמעבד. תוך כדי התהליך החלטתי להעלות על הכתב את העיבודים שיצרתי ,כדי לאפשר לנגני הגיטרה לנגן שירים מופלאים אלה( .יש לציין כי הטכניקה הדרושה היא טכניקת נגינה קלאסית ללא מפרט). למען נגינה מדויקת יותר ,אני ממליץ לשלב בין קריאת הטאבים והתווים ,וכמובן לתבל את הכול בהמון סבלנות והתמדה!נא זכרו להתאמן תחילה בטמפו איטי ולא להתפתות לנגן מהר מוקדם מדי ,וכן לבודד קטעים מורכבים טכנית ולהתאמן עליהם בנפרד עד לשליטה מוחלטת. בתקליטור המצורף תוכלו להאזין לעיבודים בנגינתי. לסיום .גיטריסטים ומורים יקרים,כדי להביא ספר זה לאוויר העולם נדרשו מאמצים כבירים! בקשתי הצנועה מכם היא לכבד עובדה זו ולהקפיד להימנע מצילום,העתקה,או שכפול של תוכן כלשהו מהספר.שמירה על אתיקה זו תהיה הבעת התמיכה הגדולה ביותר שאוכל לקבל מכם( ,יחד עם רכישת הספר כמובן) ,ותסייע לי להמשיך וליצור ספרים כגון אלה בעתיד. בהצלחה! חגי [email protected] www.hagairehavia.com מילון אקורדים 8
