We are delighted to invite you to the annual meeting which will
take place at the Dan Hotel in Eilat on October 30 – November 1,
2013.
The Israel Radiological Association (ISRA) and the French-Israeli
Association of Medical Imaging (AFIIM), will join forces to form
a productive and interesting scientific event. The meeting will
cover most clinical aspects of radiology such as neuroradiology,
body imaging, cardiovascular imaging, interventional radiology,
pediatric radiology, breast imaging, informatics and advanced
technologies.
As last year the conference will enable the participants to obtain
17.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
We will host world leaders of Radiology and among them Prof.
Guy Frija, ESR president, Drs. Paul Ellenbogen and Albert Blumberg,
Chair of ACR Board and President of ACR respectively , Prof. Hans
Ringertz, past president of the Nobel prize committee in Medicine
and Prof. Caseiro-Alves, ESGAR president.
All lectures, scientific communications and posters will be held
in English for the convenience of the international forum of
attendees.
The invited lectures, as well as the peer reviewed papers, will be
presented in various formats such as parallel scientific sessions,
plenary lectures, refresher courses, panel discussions and
electronic posters.
We shall continue with the tradition of ‘Michal Meidan’ award for
the best resident presentation as well as the radiological quiz. Please save the date.

Needs: The needs assessment for this activity were determined on
the basis of national guidelines, published literature and a survey
performed at the ISRA2012 annual meeting and on the basis of
national guidelines and published literature, and these needs are
addressed in the Learning Objectives.
Intended Audience:
Medical Doctor degree or equivalent. Post graduate training
with completion of residency in one of the following specialties:
Diagnostic Radiology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, OB-GYN,
Pediatrics, Oncology, Rheumatology, Radiation Therapy, Physical
Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the recent technological advancement in CT and MR
examinations and how to utilize these in daily practice
Understand the most recent science behind the role of breast
imaging in reducing breast cancer morbidity and mortality
Understand the role and advancements in imaging and healthcare
informatics to improve patient care and to better assure data
reliability, integrity, security and privacy
Understand how to optimally utilize neurovascular imaging to
assure that endovascular therapy options are always considered,
where appropriate
Understand the current state-of-the-art imaging approaches to
articular derangement diagnosis and treatment
