In these roles, he is responsible for strategic planning and development of novel organization-wide interventions for improving healthcare quality, reducing disparities, and introducing novel data-driven tools into practice to increase care effectiveness. Prof. Balicer is faculty at the Ben-Gurion University, involved in research and teaching as associate professor and infectious diseases track director in the faculty' MPH program. He authored books, book chapters and over 100 peer-reviewed publications looking at various aspects of public health, quality improvement, and preventive medicine. In recent years, Prof. Balicer's research is focused on the study of extensive clinical databases and utilizing predictive modeling in health provision and policymaking. Prof. Balicer also serves as Secretary of the Israeli Public Health Physician Association, as Adviser to the Israeli Ministry of Health on epidemic control and as Member of the National Advisory Board on Immunizations and Infectious Diseases. Sharon Bar-Dayan, BA Ms. Sharon Bar-Dayan serves as the Market Access Head of Novartis Oncology, Israel and Ukraine. Prior to joining Novartis on 2010, Ms. Bar-Dayan was the Market Access Manager and a Business Unit Manager in Schering-Plough. The MA position included responsibility for the following areas: Pricing and commercial management of the company, external relations, reimbursement process of the company’s new products & indications. Sharon is in the Pharmaceutical industry for more than 16 years, in which among other duties served in OTC marketing in the local manufacturing company Meditek and in Neopharm. Ms. Bar-Dayan holds a B.A in behavioral sciences and has studied cognitive psychology in Ben Gurion University. Currently Sharon is an active participant in the STS program (Science Technology & Society) for master studies in Bar Ilan University.Sharon has long time experience and participated in pharmaco economy and health economic seminars among others are:1. RiskSharing/Performance-Based arrangements for drugs and other medical Products by the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and OutcomesResearch.2. Health Technology Assessment for Market Access Decision Making by Prof. Uwe Siebert. His responsibilities include access and customer facing with commercial and governmental endpoints. Prior to his appointment in March 2009, Micha served as Senior Key Account Manager of Pfizer Israel from May 2007. Prior to joining Pfizer, Micha served as Sales Manager of CTS, a local Pharmaceutical Company. Among his varied responsibilities he led the Commercial Unit responsible for the sales of OTC, Generic and Ethical products. From 1994-2003, Micha worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals, the leading Generic Company in the world. He began his work as a Sales Representative, then onto Team Leader position and finally as Private Market Manager. His experience has allowed him to experience diverse product areas including Ethical, Generic, OTC and consumer products. Micha holds a Sub-Engineer Degree in Chemistry from Bosmat Sub-Engineers School in Haifa as well as a Bachelor in Social Sciences from The Haifa University. Mordi Rabinovich, PhD, R.Ph, MBA Dr. Mordi Rabinovich has a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Health Systems Management, Ben-Gurion University, a pharmacist (B.Pharm) degree from the Hebrew University and MBA from Tel-Aviv University. Mordi is a Market Access & Reimbursement specialist consulting to the pharma, biotech and medical devices industries in his field of expertise. Previously served as head of the Department of Health Technology Policy at Maccabi Healthcare Services, and as the Director of Customer Strategy at AstraZeneca Israel. Has been serving at the ISPOR-Israel board since 2010. Erez Shem Tov, MBA Mr. Erez Shem Tov joined Abbott Israel in 2007, and serves as the External Affairs Director. Prior to joining Abbott, Mr. Shem Tov was a deputy secretary general in Pharma Israel (association of the Israeli subsidiaries of the multinational companies) in this position he was responsible for leading the price / modeling issues.
