Invitation to foundry conference and
exhibition
The International Foundry Conference organised in Portorož/
Slovenia every year is one of the most traditional conferences in
Europe. Foundry engineering and technology with a large input
of knowledge and stronger information technology support are
nowadays one of the main production industry of differentiated
components and even of more advanced ones. Global market
seeks and demands a high rate of competitiveness of the most
powerful foundry processes. A market flexibility control of
complex procedures and cost reduction are the requirements that
unconditionally assume high rate of knowledge, experiences and
innovations. Development and by it industry livelihood cannot be
feasible without interconnection between universities, scientific
and research institutes and applications. For the foundry products
the requirements for different stages of final processing must
be imperative in order to provide largely existence of foundries.
Participation of scientists and experts from numerous esteemed
universities and institutes, as well as experts of economy is
significant for the foundry conference in Portorož as all of them with
their papers and presentations give a support to conference high
standing. Accompanying exhibition of technical achievements in the
foundry industry will be also organised in this 2013 year and it will
make it more interesting for all of those interconnected within a
large foundry community.
