USED ANYWHERE IAW (IN ACCORDANCE WITH) PCM RAIL SPACING SPECIFIED IN FIGURE 02 THIS PLAN.

THERE SHALL BE TWO PCM RAILS EQUALLY-SPACED UNDER EVERY PV MODULE (ABOUT 25% IN).
PV MODULES MAY BE LANDSCAPE OR PORTRAIT AT CONTRACTOR OPTION. PCM RAILS SHALL RUN PERPENDICULAR TO ROOF FRAMING.
PCM RAILS SHALL BE ATTACHED TO ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS AT DISTANCES NGT (NOT GREATER THAN) CENTER-TO-CENTER DISTANCES
SPECIFIED IN FIGURE 02.
ROOF ATTACHMENT: AT EACH SPECIFIED ANCHOR POINT - A SINGLE CORROSION RESISTANT STEEL (CRS), 5/16” MINIMUM DIAMETER LAG, 3” LONG
IS ACCEPTABLE AT WINDSPEEDS 150 OR LESS. ABOVE THAT, TWO LAGS ARE REQUIRED. A SINGLE, 3/8TH INCH DIAMETER, “J” BOLT IS ACCEPTABLE
ANCHORAGE AT ALL WINDSPEEDS. PV MODULES SHALL ATTACH TO PCM RAILS AT EVERY CROSSING POINT WITH A GSAS MODULE CLAMP OR PCM
CLAMP. ADJOINING MODULES MAY SHARE ATTACHMENT CLAMPS.
S-5 CLAMPS SHALL BE USED ON STANDING SEAM MEATAL ROOFS IN CONJUNCTION WITH PCM RAILS RUNNING PERPENDICULAR TO STANDING
SEAMS. RAIL TO STANDING SEAM CONNECTIONS SHALL BE MADE USING S-5 CLAMPS AT NGT 6-FT S-5 TO S-5 IN PZ1 AND NGT 4-FT S-5 TO S-5 IN PZ-2.
WATERPROOFING; S-5 INSTALLATIONS INVOLVE NO ROOF PENETRATIONS. FOR OTHER ROOFS, LAGGING THRU A GENEROUS PUDDLE OF NOA/PCA
(MIAMI-DADE/FLORIDA) APPROVED ROOFING SEALANT SHALL BE ADEQUATE. CONTRACTOR MAY, WITH APPROVAL OF AHJ, USE ALTERNATE MEANS
