In the presence of a minyan, mourners say: .יִ ְת ַ ּגדַּ ל וְ יִ ְת ַקדַּ ׁש ׁ ְש ֵמ ּה ַר ָ ּבא י־ב ָר א ְ ִּ ְ ּב ָע לְְ ָמ א דCong: ָא ֵמן ְ ִ וְ יַ ְמל.כִ ְרע ּו ֵת ּה ,יך ַמלְ כ ּו ֵת ּה ְ ּב ַח ֵ ּייכוֹ ן ו ְּביוֹ ֵמיכוֹ ן ו ְּב ַח ֵ ּיי ִדי־ ַ ּב ֲעגָ לָ א ו ִּבזְ ַמן,ל־בית יִ שְׂ ָר ֵאל ּ ֵ ָָכ Cong: ָא ֵמן.מן ֵ וְ ִא ְמר ּו ָא.ָק ִריב Magnified and sanctified may His great name be, in the world He created by His will. Bow, take three steps back, then bow, first left, then right, then centre, while saying: הוּא,עֹשֶׂ ה ׁ ָשלוֹ ם ִ ּב ְמרוֹ ָמיו ל־כל־ ָָּ וְ ַע,ּיַ ֲעשֶׂ ה ׁ ָשלוֹ ם ָעלֵ ֽינו Cong: ָא ֵמן.מן ֵ וְ ִא ְמר ּו ָא,יִ שְׂ ָר ֵאל May He who makes peace in His high places, make peace for us and all Israel – and say: Amen. Wait a few moments and then take three steps forward. When Minchah is said on its own, many have the practice to recite a Psalm (either Psalm 49 or Psalm 16 depending on the dates). These can be found on page 118-120. Laws of Kaddish 11. The Kaddish requires the presence of a minyan, that is, ten adult males. 22. It is our custom to say Kaddish standing. 33. It is also our custom that all mourners recite Kaddish in unison. 44. B’al’ma dee v’ra chiruteh, v’yamleech malchuteh, b’chayeychon, uv-yomeychon, uv-chayey dee chol beyt Yisra-el, ba-agala uvizman kareev, v’imru Amen. All: Y’heh sh’meh rabba mevarach l’alam ulal’mei al’ma-ya. Mourner: Yitbarach v’yishtabach v’yitpa-ar v’yitromam v’yitnaseh v’yithadar v’yitaleh v’yit-hallal sh’meh dee kud'sha, b’reech hu. L’ela* (*Between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur say: L’ela, L’ela) min kol birchata v’sheerata tushb’chata v’nechemata, dee amiran b’al’ma, v’imru, Amen. Y’heh sh’lama rabba min sh’maya v’chayim aleynu v’al kol Yisra-el v’imru Amen. Bow, take three steps back, then bow, first left, then right, then centre, while saying: Oseh shalom bimromav, hu ya’aseh shalom aleynu, v’al kol Yisra-el, v’imru Amen. Wait a few moments and then take three steps forward.
