The 17th conference on media trends SEMPL Portorož, 26 and 27

The 17th conference on media trends SEMPL
Portorož, 26 and 27 November 2015
About the media trends conference SEMPL
Sempl is an internationally recognised educational event, aimed at presenting current
media trends in the Adriatic region and at analysing local and foreign good practice
and case studies in media and marketing communications industry. It is aimed at
everyone working in, with or for the media and to all those who dictate media trends,
follow them and include them in their activities.
The conference has more and more participants each year; in 2014 there were 850
of them and in 2015 there are about 900 delegates expected. Although the majority
of delegates comes from Slovenia, around two thirds, the number of attendees from
other countries in the Adriatic region, especially Serbia and Croatia, increases also.
Thus, the objective of SEMPL to become a leading regional event is being reached,
as the conference attracts each year more representatives of the media and creative
agencies, media and advertisers from all countries of former Yugoslavia and Eastern
European countries. Last year's conference hosted for the first time in its history
some participants from Bulgaria and in the coming years there will be even more
emphasis on the promotion of SEMPL in other neighboring countries such as Austria
and Italy as well.
At SEMPL, many renowned international key speakers experts from the media and
market communications ecosystem take the stage; there are over twenty experts who
share their knowledge and skills. For example, the key speakers at SEMPL 2014
were “the guru of cool” Daniel Levine, the Global Editor of WikiTrend.org and
Founder of Avant-Guide Institute from USA, a world authority in the field of radio
advertising Ralph van Dijk, Founder and Creative Director at Eardrum from
Australia, Patrick Galvin, an American expert in relational marketing and Founder of
The Galvanizing Group, Matthew Zorpas, the author of the blog TheGentleman
Blogger from UK, and Niall Horgan, Partner Manager EMEA at Twitter.
About the organisers
Since as far as 1998, SEMPL has been created under the auspices and in the
organisation of one of the largest media space buyers in Slovenia, Media Pool. The
company has been established by the major Slovenian advertising agencies with the
purpose of precise monitoring of the developments in the media market and of
ensuring transparent business. Expert experience and a wholesome favourable offer
in the media allow for good conditions and high-quality services for clients. Apart from
SEMPL, Media Pool also conducts Radiometrija, a radio station rating research,
prepares the Mediaskop – a full overview of the Slovenian media market – and is
engaged in many other smaller projects.
Since 2011, Medijski partner, the publisher of the Slovenian Marketing magazin,
which is being published since 1981, co-operates in organization of SEMPL.
