RACE 1
OAK HARBOUR makes his debut. Keep an eye on
the betting. LIMITED EDITION is another first
timer. Again keep an eye on the betting. VICTOR'S
FOLLY did not show last time. Best run was at this
track. ELYSIAN VALLEY may improve in this part of
the world and with a change in stable. FIRST SIGN
has run twice. Best run was at this track at
penultimate.

RACE 2
ACROSS THE ICE was not disgraced when finishing
fourth in the Emerald Cup last time. Excellent
form this C & D. NICE STRIDE did run on late last
time. Could be finding best form again. SUGAR
AND SHAKE is unbeaten this C & D (2 from 2).
CAPTAIN HADDOCK has a chance if repeating
penultimate start. PINOT NOIR showed pace last
time but faded late.

RACE 3
WOTTAHOTTIE has finished third in all three of his
runs to date. Weakens though. First run on sand.
Watch! Ignore the disappointing run of
INTANDOKAZI last time. Reported not striding
out. GULLIVERS TRAVEL may improve at this
track. FIELDS OF GLORY is improving slowly. QUID
RIDES makes his debut. watch the betting.

RACE 4
SHIRLA did not show when making her Gauteng
debut on turf last time. First go on sand and may
prefer the surface. FIELD CAT ran a vastly
improved race last time when racing on this sand
for the first time. Could follow up. LOVE WITHOUT
END made a good debut last time. May improve
on that run. AVENUE has been showing
improvement with each run. May benefit
from the drop in trip. CHADDERTON races from
the front and subsequently weakens.

RACE 5
NIGHTINGALE GREY hasn't won for a while but
runs some of her best races at this C & D. THE
ANGELUS disappointed on turf at the weekend.
Should do better this C & D where she has won
two out of three. SHOWDOWN is holding form
well. Had to ease last time. MASSACHUSETTS won
well over shorter last time. The extra could suit
even more. DIVINE GRACE has been running on in
her last two runs. Improved efforts.

RACE 6
IMPERIAL EMPRESS won when running on over
1800m last time. Could repeat. BREATHLESS also
won her latest start over 1800m. Should be a
closely fought contest. WALKING ON AIR dis run
on late last time. SUMMER SARI showed excellent
improvement of eighteen lengths last time.
Respect the late effort. BAGS OF BOODLE has
finished well in her last two efforts. Expect
another honest run.

RACE 7
EAGLE FACE has been finishing well. Last two
starts vastly improved. THE PROFESSOR has
steady form and got going late last time. TROUT
CREEK made a winning debut last time. That was
at this C & D. ELECTRIC ELEKTRA did not show
against stronger last time. Better this company.
GEMS A PLENTY has only won this C & D. Fair post
maiden form.

RACE 8
DANCE KID has had two fair runs. Yet to run on
sand. May improve. CAPTAIN COYOTE has run
three good runs from four starts. Yet to run on
sand. WOODSTOCK EXPRESS has weakened last
few. Respect trainer/jockey combination. TOUGH
TIGER will need to repeat penultimate start. WALL
'N ALL is still improving.
