Activity folders will be available for children in a basket in the front of the church.
Please see the Sunday School calendar posted in the dining room. Practice for the Children’s Christmas
program will begin today following the Children’s Message at the 10 a.m. service. Mark your
calendars for December 7th for the Christmas Program.
NURSERY CARE for infants and children through age 5 is provided by Kari Hildreth, our certified
Nursery Administrator and is available during the 10:00 a.m. Worship Service. The nursery is located
downstairs. Just follow the stairs at the back of the sanctuary and you will find the nursery on the right.
Ushers will be happy to assist you.
THE APPLE PIE MARATHON IS THIS WEEK!!!

Monday – pie crusts will be made starting at 8 a.m.

Thursday – apples will be peeled from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (we will start pies soon after the last apple
is peeled)

Friday – pies will be made from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
We need your help! We have jobs for everyone with on-the-job training provided. Come join in the
fellowship and fun of our 26th Annual Apple Pie Marathon!!
THE MISSIONS AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE will meet this Tuesday, October 14th at 7 p.m. in the
Conference Room.
THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15th –

Lunch & Learn will meet at noon in the conference room. Bring a sack lunch. Coffee and tea are
provided

Handbell Choir rehearses from 7-8 p.m.


THE FINANCE COMMITTEE will meet next Sunday, October 19th at 11:15 a.m. in the Conference Room.
APPLE PIE ORDER FORMS are located at both doors to the sanctuary.
WE ARE ORGANIZING a group to go see Godspell on Sunday, October 25th at the Port Austin Community
Theater. Showtime - 2 p.m. Sign up sheets will be passed during the church service. See Rita Wencel or
Katie Volmering with questions.
A BEGINNING YOGA CLASS is being offered upstairs in our education building - Mondays at 5:45 p.m.
and Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. Bring a yoga mat if you have one. Classes are free of charge and last about
1 hour. Call Lisa MacAlpine with questions 989-574-5746.
