1. Tilsigtet brug
Med Smar tRadiator Vægtermostaten kan op til 8
SmartRadiator Kontrollere reguleres i et rum.Der er to
måder hvorpå et SmartRadiator varmestyringssystem kan
anvendes/installeres: Enkelt-rums system eller fuldt-hus
system.Et enkelt-rums system består af en SmartRadiator
Vægtermostat der regulerer op til 8 SmartRadiator
Kontrollere og op til 8 SmartRadiator Vinduesensorer
i samme rum. SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten har en
integreret sensor, der måler temperaturen i rummet og
overfører denne til SmartRadiator Kontrollerne.
Dette system kan betjenes uden SmartRadiator Gateway.
Enhederne er alle Inkluderet direkte til SmartRadiator
Vægtermostaten.
For fuldt-hus installation anvendes en SmartRadiator
Gateway, som forbinder alle SmartRadiator enheder i
hjemmet til hinanden. I denne installation kan SmartRadiator
Eco-knappen integreres, som kan anvendes på alle rum
i hjemmet.
Enheden må kun betjenes indendørs og skal
beskyttes mod påvirkningerne som fugt og støv, såvel
som sol-eller varmestråling. Bruges denne enhed til
andre formål end beskrevet i denne
betjeningsvejledning bortfalder garantien. Dette
gælder også for enhver ombygning eller ændring af
produktet. Dette produkt er beregnet til privat brug.

lege med det. Efterlad ikke emballage, da det kan være
farligt for børn. Åbn ikke enheden: Det indeholder ikke
dele, der skal serviceres/skiftes af brugeren. I tilfælde af en
fejl, bedes du returnere enheden til vores serviceafdeling.
5. Instruktioner for bortskaffelse
Smid ikke apparatet i almindelige husholdningsaffald!
Elektronisk udstyr skal bortskaffes på de lokale
indsamlingssteder for elektronisk af fald i
overensstemmelse med loven om elektriskaffald
og elektronisk udstyr.
CE-mærkningen er et officielt symboler, som
vedrører den frie bevægelighed for et produkt,
det garantere ikke produktets egenskaber.
Brugte batterier bør ikke smides ud med
almindeligt husholdningsaffald! Aflever det ved
dit lokale batterie-kontainer eller renovationsplads.
6. Indsættelse (udskiftning) af batterier
1. Fra indpakningen
Når du skal anvende produktet for første gang, skal du først
fjerne monteringsbeslaget (A) på bagsiden af produktet.
• For at gøre dette, skal du holde SmartRadiator
Vægtermostaten fast i den ene hånd og træk monteringsbeslaget af i det ene hjørne.

2. Hvis allerede installeret
Er SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten allerede monteret
trækkes denne ud af monteringsbeslaget.
• Træk Vægtermostaten af monteringsbeslaget sammen
med rammen ved at trække Vægtermostaten „ud ad“. Du
behøver ikke at åbne produktet.
Skift batterier
• Vend SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten
for at fjerne eller indsætte batterierne
som vist på illustrationen. Efter fjernelse
af de gamle batterier, vent ca. 60
sekunder før indsættelse af nye.
• Du kan nu indsætte to LR03 batterier
(Micro / AAA) i batteriholderen, og sørg for de er vendt
rigtige som vist på tegningen
• Monter SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten sammen med
ramme i monteringsbeslag.
Et Tomt Batteri symbol ( ) vises, når batterierne
skal udskiftes. Hvis der desuden vises et V eller S,
bet yder det at bat terierne i en Inkluderet
SmartRadiator Kontroller (V) eller SmartRadiator
Vinduesensor (S) skal udskiftes.
Genoplad aldrig almindelige batterier. Det vil medføre
en risiko for eksplosion. Smid ikke batterierne ind i
åben ild. Kortslutte aldrig batterier.
7. Indstilling af dato og klokkeslæt (dAt)
Efter indsættelse eller udskiftning af batterier vises
software version nummer kortvarigt. Efterfølgende skal

Dato og Klokkeslæt indstilles. Indstillingerne kan ændres
med (+) og (-) knapperne og bekræftes med OK-knappen.
• Indstil år, måned og dato og bekræft hver enkelt indstilling
med OK knappen.
År: Måned og dag:
• Indstil nu klokkeslæt og bekræfte indstillingerne med
knappen OK.
Timer: Minutter:
Når klokkelsæt og datoen er indstillet vil SmartRadiator
Vægtermostaten automatisk skifter til normal drift.
Hvis SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten er blevet
Inkluderet til en SmartRadiator Gateway, vil aktuelle
dato og klokkeslæt automatisk blive overført til
Vægtermostaten fra SmartRadiator Gatewayen.
Under normal drift uden SmartRadiator Gateway kan
dato og klokkeslæt ændres til enhver tid via „dAt“ i
konfigurationsmenuen (se afsnit 17).

8. Montering
Du kan enten bruge de medfølgende skruer eller
dobbeltklæbende tape til at montere SmartRadiator
Vægtermostaten på en væg med den medfølgende ramme
eller integrere den i en eksisterende stikdåse (kun Sverige,
Finland og Norge - se afsnit 9).
Dobbeltklæbende tape:
• Vælg et sted for montage. Overfladen, hvorpå SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten skal monteres, skal være rene,
tørre og fri for fed.
• Til montering af SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten,
fastgøres det dobbeltklæbende tape på bagsiden af
monteringsbeslaget.

• Fjern beskyttelsesfilmen fra det dobbeltklæbende tape.
• Tryk den samlede SmartRadiator Vægtermostat (inkl.
ramme og monteringsbeslag) med bagsiden mod væggen i den position, hvor den skal monteres.
Skruemontering:
• Vælg et sted for montering.
Sikre, at der ikke er elledninger, hvor
Vægtermostaten skal monteres.

Placér monteringspladen på det ønskede sted på
væggen. Sørg for, at pilen på monteringspladen peger
opad.
• Brug en kuglepen til at markere 2 borehuller A (diagonalt)
i monteringsbeslaget på væggen. Borehullerne B kan
anvendes ved installation i forsænket vægboks (Sverige,
Finland og Norge).

• Hvis du monteret på stenmur, bor de to markerede huller
med 5 mm bor og indsæt de medfølgende rawlplugs. Hvis
du monterer på en trævæg, kan du forbore med 1,5 mm
bor for nemmere at kunne montere skruerne.
• Anvend de medfølgende skruerne
og rawlplugs til fastgørelse af
monteringsbeslag på væggen.
• Monter Vægtermostaten med
rammen på monteringsbeslaget.
Sørg for, at pilene på bagsiden af
Vægtermostaen peger opad, og
at “fingrene” på monteringspladen
hæf ter sig til åbningerne på
bagsiden af Vægtermostaten.

9. Installation med andre rammer
10. Inkludering af SmartRadiator enheder
Du kan montere SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten med
den medfølgende ramme eller en ramme fra anden
producent (kun Sverige, Norge og Finland) samt monter
Vægtermostaten i en multi-gang vægboks. I begge
tilfælde er montering med selvklæbende strimler og
skruer muligt. Ved montering i anden ramme, sørg for, at
monteringsbeslaget på SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten
er tilpasset den allerede fastmonteret monteringspladen
/ låsering.
For at kunne bruge SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten i din
installation, skal du Inkludere den til et SmartRadiator
system. Du kan bruge SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten
både sammen med ELLER uden en SmartRadiator
Gateway. De to installationsmuligheder er beskrevet i de
følgende afsnit.
SmartRadiator Vægermostaten er udformet til at passe
i rammer fra de følgende producenter (Sverige, Finland,
Norge og Tyskland):

10.1 Inkludering i System MED SmartRadiator Gateway!
SmartRadiator Vægtermostat Inkluderes og konfigureres
med en SmartRadiator Gateway via det medfølgende
SmartRadiator PC software. Funktionerne beskrevet i
kapitel 17 er tilgængelige via SmartRadiator PC softwaren.
Når Vægtermostaten er Inkluderet til en SmartRadiator
Gateway er Konfigurationsmenuen på SmartRadiator
Vægtermostaten („Menu / Mode“) knappen deaktiveret.
For at Inkludere til en SmartRadiator Gateway, gør følgende:
• Start lokale SmartRadiator PC Software og klik på „New Device“.
• Tryk og hold „OK“ knappen på SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten.
• Antennen symbolet vises i displayet, og SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten vises i SmartRadiator PC softwaren.
• I softwaren, gå til „Next“ for at give enheden et navn og tildele den et rum.
• SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten er nu integreret
i systemet og kan konfigureres i PC softwaren for de respektive rum.
Hvis Vægtermostaten har bruger-programmeret
indstilling/varmeprogrammer vil disse gå tabt, hvis
den Inkluderes til en SmartRadiator Gateway.

Så snart en SmartRadiator Vægtermostat er blevet
Inkluderet til en Gateway vil al data, såsom dato,
klokkeslæt eller Varmeprogram automatisk blive
overført fra Gatewayen til Vægtermostaten via den
trådløse forbindelse.
Hvis du tilføjer en SmartRadiator Gateway til dit system
senere, skal du nulstille/resette alle enheder, herunder
SmartRadiator Vægtermostat til den oprindelige
fabriksindstillinger forud for Inkluderingen til
SmartRadiator Gateway. Alle indstillinger, herunder dine
ugentlige profiler bliver slettet i denne proces.
10.2 Inkludering af SmartRadiator enheder til Vægtermostat (UDEN SmartRadiator Gateway)
Med Smar tRadiator Vægtermostat kan du oprette
en enkelt-rums system med op til 8 SmartRadiator
Kontrollere og op til 8 vindue sensorer. Denne løsning
kan betjenes uden SmartRadiator Gateway. Til dette
formål Inkluderes enhederne direkte til SmartRadiator
Vægtermostaten. SmartRadiator Kontrollerene styres
herefter af SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten (fx indstilling,
temperatur, ugeprogram osv.).
Ønskes enkelt-rums systemerne tilsluttet sammen
kan dette kun ske vha. en SmartRadiator Gateway
(se ovenfor afsnit 10.1).
Inkluderingstid vist i sekunder. Inkluderingstiden er 30
sekunder.
• Efter Inkluderingen er udført med succes, skifter
SmartRadiator Vægtermostat til normal driftstilstand.
11. Ekskludering af trådløse enheder (UnL)
Ved installation med SmartRadiator Gateway skal SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten og andre enheder, som ønskes
Ekskluderet (fjernet fra systemet), Ekskluderes vha. SmartRadiator PC softwaren.
Ved installation uden SmartRadiator Gateway, skal du
bruger ″UnL″-funktionen i Vægtermostat menuen, for at
Ekskludere enheder, der tidkligere er blevet Inkluderet
til den pågældende SmartRadiator Vægtermostat (f.eks
SmartRadiator Kontroller). Alle SmartRadiator enheder
som tidligere er blevet Inkluderet til blev Ekskluderet.
For at Ekskludere, gøre følgende:
• Vælg ″UnL″ menupunkt med (+) og (-) knapperne.
• Bekræft indstillingen med knappen OK.
• ″ACC″ vises på displayet.
• Bekræft med knappen OK.
SmartRadiator Eco knappen ikke kan integreres i et
enkelt-rums system. En SmartRadiator Gateway er
nødvendigt for integrationen af denne knap.
SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten skal derefter resettes ved
at genskabe fabriksindstillingerne (se kapitel 18 Reset).
Ef ter ″ UnL″-funk tionen er alle enheder slet tet fra
Smar t- Radiator Vægtermostaten; Genskabelse af
fabriksindstillingen er ikke obligatorisk.
For at Inkludere dine enheder til Vægtermostaten gør
følgende:
• Første sæt enheden, som skal Inkluderes, i Inkluderingstilstand (f.eks SmartRadiator Kontroller).
• Sæt nu SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten i Inkluderingstilstand ved at trykke og holde OK knappen nede.
• Antennen symboll ( ) vises, sammen med den resterende
Under normal drift, vises, ugedag, nominel temperatur, tid,
radio synkronikitet og varmeprogram.
Søjlerne til varmeprogrammet vises for hvert tidsinterval,
hvor den nominelle temperaturen er højere end sækningstemperaturen. Et eksempel kan findes i afsnit. 17.1.1.

12. Display vising ved normal drift

13. Indstillinger (Auto / Manu / Ferie-funktion)
Du kan vælge mellem tre forskellige drift indstillinger: Auto,
Manu og Ferie funktion:
Auto: Uge program - automatisk temperaturregulering i
henhold til forindstillet ugeprogram.
Manu: Manuel betjening - temperaturen indstilles
manuelt med (+) og (-) knapperne.
Ferie funktion ( ): Angivelse af en temperatur, der skal
afholdes indtil en fast sluttidspunkt.
Boost ( BOOST ): Set boost funktion (sec. 17.5)
Du kan nemt konfigurere indstillingerne for de forskellige
indstillinger via det lokale SmartRadiator PC software,
hvis en SmartRadiator Gateway er installeret i systemet.
For systemer under SmartRadiator Gateway, kan du skifte
mellem de drift-instillingerne ved at trykke på knappen
MODE knappen.
Hvis driftsinstillingen eller temperaturen på en enhed
i rummet ændres, vil alle Inkluderet SmartRadiator
Kontrollere tilpasse sig denne indstilling.
14. Børnelås / Operativlås ( )
Simpel Børnelås
Knapperne på vægtermostaten kan låses for at undgå
utilsigtede ændringer. Til (de) aktivering af Børne-låsen gør
følgende:
• Tryk kort på Mode og OK-knappen samtidigt.
• Når låsen er aktiveret, vises låsesymbolet ( ) i displayet.

Avancerede operativlås (Loc)
Den avancerede operativlås låser konfigurationsmenuen
med en en firecifret kode, for at hindre ændringer af
indstillinger. Når den avancerede operativlås er aktiveret
på Vægtermostaten, skifter apparatet automatisk til Auto
indstilling, og brugeren kan nu kun justere temperaturen
ved hjælp af (+) og (-) knapperne i et begrænset område
og / eller komfort ( ) og sænkning ( ) knapperne. Det
justerbare temperaturområde er begrænset til 5,0°C 24,0°C.
Aktivering af operativlås:
• Tryk og hold „Menu“-knappen nede i mere end tre
sekunder. Brug (+) for at vælge „Loc“ fra menuen og tryk
på OK knappen for at bekræfte.
• Indtast nu den fire-cifrede kode „1357“. Anvende (+) og (-)
for at vælge hvert ciffer efter hinanden. Når du har valgt et
ciffer, tryk OK knappen for at bekræfte. Markøren flytter
derefter til næste ciffer.
• Når du har valgt den rigtige kode, vises „ON“ eller „OFF“.
Brug (+) eller (-) for at vælge den ønskede tilstand. „ON“
betyder, at den avancerede operativlås er aktiveret.
„OFF“, deaktiverer operativlåsen. Vælg „ON“, og tryk på
OK-knappen for at bekræfte.
• Den avancerede operativlås er nu aktiveret, og
-symbolet vises.
Hvis du indtaster en forkert kode, skifter displayet tilbage
til normal med det samme.
Deaktivering af operativlås:
• Hvis -symbolet vises, er den avancerede operativlås
aktiveret.
• For at deaktivere den, skal du trykke og holde nede på
„Menu“-knappen i mere end tre sekunder.

• Indtast standard firecifret kode. Anvende (+) og (-) for
at vælge hvert ciffer efter hinanden. Når du har valgt
de korrekte cifre, skal du trykke på knappen OK for at
bekræfte.
• Når du har valgt den rigtige kode, vises „ON“ eller „OFF“
i dispalyet. Vælg „OFF“ med (-)-knappen og tryk på OK
for at bekræfte.
• Displayet vender tilbage til normal. -symbolet er slukket,
og avancerede operativlås deaktiveres.
• Hvis du indtaster en forkert kode, skifter displayet tilbage til
normal med det samme. Den avancerede operativsystem
lås fortsat skal aktiveres.
Ændring af kode:
• Tryk og hold nede på „Menu“-knappen i mere end tre
sekunder. Brug (+) for at vælge „Loc“ fra menuen, og klik
OK for at bekræfte.
• Indtaste eksisterende kode (fabrikskode: „1357“), „ON“
eller „OFF“ vises.
• Tryk på knappen „Menu“ igen.
• Brug knapperne (+) og (-) for at ændre hver af de fire
cifre i koden. Tryk på OK efter valg af hvert ciffer. Den
nye kode og „ON“ eller „OFF“ vises nu.
• Når du har valgt alle fire cifre, skal du trykke på knappen
OK. Din kode er nu ændret, og displayet vender tilbage
til normal visning.
Hvis du glemmer koden, kan denne kun slettes ved
at udføre en Reset til fabriksindstillinger eller via
SmartRadiator Gateway (se Kap. 18).
Koden kan kun ændres på selve Vægtermostaten og
ikke via SmartRadiator PC softwaren.

15. Indstilling af varme-pause (ON)
Batteriernes levetid kan forlænges ved at slukke for
varmen om sommeren og åbne ventilerne helt. Tilkalkning
beskyttelsesfunktion vil fortsætter med at være aktiv.
For at aktivere fortsætte som følger:
• I manuel driftindstilling (Manu) tryk på knappen (+), indtil
„ON“ vises på displayet.
For at afslutte varme pausen skal du gøre følgende:
• Afslut manuel driftindstilling (Manu) eller tryk på (-)
knappen, indtil den ønskede temperatur er indstillet.
16. Indstilling af frostsikring (OFF)
Hvis rummet ikke behøvers at blive opvarmet, kan ventilen
lukkes. Ventilen åbnes kun, hvis der er en risiko for frost.
Tilkalkningsbeskyttelses funktionen vil fortsætte med at
være aktiv. For at aktivere frostsikringen, skal du gøre
følgende:
• I manuel driftindstilling (Manu) tryk på (-) knappen, indtil
″OFF″ vises på displayet.
• For at deaktivere afslutte manuel driftindstilling (Manu)
eller tryk på knappen (+), indtil den ønskede temperatur
er indstillet.
17. Konfigurationsmenuen (Menu) (Operation UDEN
SmartRadiator Gateway)
Hvis dit system indeholder en SmartRadiator
G a t e w a y, k a n d u n e m t i n d s t i l l e / æ n d r e
indstillinger i det enkelte rum som beskrevet i
de følgende kapitler.
Følgende trin forklarer, hvordan de forskellige
funk tioner indstilles, når systement IKKE

indholder en SmartRadiator Gateway. Hvis der er en
SmartRadiator Gateway i systemet vil funktionerne
beskrevet i de følgende afsnit være deaktiveret på
Vægtermostaten.

Indstil ventilen tilkalkningsbeskyttelse funktion (afsnit 17.7)
AEr:
Indstil „Åbn Vinduet temperatur“ for automatisk temperatursænkning ved udluftning
(afsnit 17.8)

17.1 Indstilling ugeprogrammer (Pro)

I Auto-indstilling kan temperaturen ændres til enhver
tid med (+) og (-) knapperne eller Komfort knappen (
) og Sænkning knappen ( ). Den ændret temperaturen
vil blive opretholdt indtil den næste varme periode i
Ugeprogrammet.
Indstilling af Ugeprogram er kun muligt hvis der IKKE
er en SmartRadiator Gateway i systemet.

• Åben konfigurationsmenuen ved at trykke på menuknappen i mere end 3 sekunder.
• Vælg (S-A) menupunkt med (+) og (-) knapperne og
bekræft med OK.
• Vælg det format der skal vises i displayet (″SET″ for den
nominelle temperatur og ″Act″ for den aktuelle temperatur)

• Bekræft indstilling med OK.
Hvis aktuel temperatur er valgt, vil
displayet vise ″Set″ i 5 sekunder.
17.4 Komfort og Sænknings-temperatur
Komfort knappen ( ) og Sænknings knappen ( ) tillader
nem skifte mellem Komfort og Sænknings-temperatur. Fabriksindstillingen for Komfort temperatur er 21,0°C og for
Sænknings-temperatur 17,0°C.
Ved anvendelse af SmartRadiator Gateway, kan Komfort
og Sænknings-temperaturen ændres via tilsvarende knapper som følger:
• Tryk på Komfort ( ) eller Sænkning ( ) knappen i nogle
få sekunder.
• Displayet vil vise det respektive symbolet og den
tilsvarende Komfort eller Sænknings-temperatur.
• Ændre temperaturen med (+) og (-) knapperne.
• Bekræft indstilling med OK knappen.
Også i Auto driftindstilling kan temperaturen til enhver tid
ændres Komfort/Sænknings-knappen. Temperatur ændringen vil kun opretholdes, indtil den næste program-skifte.
17.5 Set boost-funktion ( BOOST , bOS)
BOOST-funktionen kan skabe fornemmelsen af en forøgelse
af rumtemperaturen. Når BOOST-funktionen aktiveres vil
radiatorventilen straks blive åbnet til 80% ventilåbning i 5
minutter (fabriksindstilling). Opvarmning af et rum tager

mere end 5 minutter, men den udstrålede varme fra en
radiator kan føles/mærkes med det samme.
• For at aktivere Boost-funktionen skal du trykke på BOOST
knappen. Når Boost tid er afsluttet vil Vægtermostaten
skifte tilbage til den oprindelige driftindstilling(Auto /
Manu) og den tidligere indstillede temperatur.
• Boost-funktionen kan deaktiveres når som helst ved en
igen at trykke BOOST-knappen.
Nedtællingen af Boost-perioden vises i sekunders (feks.
„300“ til „000“) og BOOST vises i displayet.
Perioden og ventilåbning af Boost funktion kan justeres
individuelt som følger:
• Tryk på Menu-knappen i mere end 3 sekunder.
• Vælg „BOS“ menupunkt med (+) og (-) knapperne.
• Bekræft indstillingen med knappen OK.
• Brug (+) og (-)-knapperne for at indstille varigheden af
Boost-perioden fra 0 til 30 minutter (0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25,
30 min.). Ved valg af 0 deaktiveres Boost-funktion.
• Bekræft indstillingen med OK.
• Derefter indstilles ventilåbningen mellem 0 og 100%
i 5% inkrementer med (+) og (-) knapperne. Jo større
ventilåbningen, desto højere bliver varmen, der udsendes af radiatoren.
• Bekræft indstillingen med knappen OK.
Hvis en lang Boost-periode og en stor ventil åbning
vælges kan radiatoren blive meget varmt. Efter ændring af fabriksindstilling kontrollere, at radiatoren
ikke opvarmes for meget.

Boost-funktionen vil have nogen umiddelbar virkning,
hvis radiatoren er tildækket (f.eks. bag en sofa).
Hvis varigheden af „Boost-perioden“ er indstillet til mere
end 999 sekunder (fx via SmartRadiator Gateway), viser
Boost nedtællingen i minutter.
17.6 Sommer/Vintertid skift
Ønsker du at fjerne den automatisk sommer/vinterskift kan
dette gøres ved at (sker som fabriksindstilling automatisk) :
• Tryk og hold Mode knappen i mindst 3 sekunder.
• Brug (+) og (-) knapperne for at vælge „dSt“ i menuen og
bekræft med OK knappen.
• „ON“ eller „OFF“ vises i displayet. Brug (+) eller (-) knappen for at vælge tilstand. „ON“ betyder at der automatisk
skiftes mellem sommer go vintertid. „OFF“ deaktiverer
automatisk skift. Vælg den ønsket tilstand og bekræft
ved at trykker på OK-knappen.
17.7 Indstilling Ferie funktion (
)
Hvis du ønsker at opretholde en fast temperatur med du
f.eks. er på ferie eller er væk i længere tid, kan Ferie
funktionen anvendes.
• Tryk kortvarigt på Mode-knappen gentagne gange, indtil
kufferten symbol ( ) vises på displayet.
• Indstil sluttidspunktet, som du vil temperaturen skal opret holdes til.
• Bekræft indstillingen med OK.
• Indstil dato, hvor du ønsker ferien funktion skal ophøre.
• Bekræft indstillingen med OK.
• Indstil temperatur og tryk på OK. Displayet blinker for

at bekræfte.
Den indstillede temperatur vil opretholdes indtil det indstillet
tidspunkt. Herefter vil Vægtermostaten skifte til Auto.
Radio kommandoer som dem fra en Vinduesensor eller
den ugentlig Tilkalkningsbeskyttelses funktion vil stadig
blive udført.
17.8 Tilkalkningsbeskyttelse funktion (dEC)
For at forhindre ophobning af kalk i ventilhuset udføres
en såkaldt ″ventilkalibrering″ ugentligt af SmartRadiator
Kontrollerene. Du kan ændre den indstillede tidpunkt for
denne funktion (fabriksindstilling: Lørdag, kl 12:00) som
følger:
• Tryk på Menu-knappen i mere end 3 sekunder.
• Vælg ″DEC″ menupunkt med (+) og (-) knapperne.
• Bekræft indstillingen med OK.
• Vælg den ugedag med (+) og (-) knapperne.
• Bekræft indstillingen med OK.

17.9 Åbent vindue funktion (
, AEr)
Under udluftning af et rum reduceres stuetemperatur
automatisk af Vægtermostaten for at spare på varmen.
Når et vindue er åbent vises Åbne Vindue symbol (
) i displayet på Vægtermostaten og på alle Inkluderet
SmartRadiator Kontrollere
Kombineret med en SmartRadiator Vinduesensor sænkes
temperaturen så længe vinduet er åbent. Temperaturen

vil blive reduceret til fabriksindstillingen på 12°C, mens
vinduet er åbnet. Når SmartRadiator Vinduesensorwn
registrerer lukning af vinduet, vil alle enheder returnere til
normal tempatur.
For at ændre sænknings-temperaturen gøres følgende:
• Tryk på Mode knappen i mere end 3 sekunder.
• Vælg ″AER″ menupunktet med (+) og (-) knapperne.

17.10 Indstilling af Offset temperatur (tOF)
Rumtemperaturen måles ved Vægtermostaten, hvorfor
temperaturen kan variere forskellige steder i rummet. For
at kompencere for dette kan en temperatur offset på ±
3,5°C indstilles. Hvis en nominel temperatur på f.eks 20°C
er indstillet på Vægtermostaten, men der er kun kun 18°C
i rummet kan et offset på -2,0 ° C indstilles.
Før du resetter SmartRadiator Vægtermostaten til
f a b r i k s i n d s t i l l i n g e r n e , s k a l d u fø r s t s l e t t e
Vægtermostaten i SmartRadiator PC softwaren, hvis
en SmartRadiator Gateway er i systemet .

1. Intended use
With the Smar tRadiator Wall Thermostat up to 8
SmartRadiator Controllers can be conveniently regulated
in a room.

There are two alternative ways to use the SmartRadiator
heating control system: the SmartRadiator single room
solution and the SmartRadiator house solution.
A SmartRadiator single room solution consists of a SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat , which enables convenient
regulation of up to 8 SmartRadiator Controllers and
8 Smart-Radiator Window Sensors in one room. The
SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat has an internal sensor
that measures the temperature in the room and cyclically
transmits it to the SmartRadiator Controllers.
This solution can be operated without the SmartRadiator
Gateway. The devices are all Included directly to the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat.
With one SmartRadiator Gateway several SmartRadiator
single room solutions can be connected to one another in a
new installation. In this installation the SmartRadiator Eco
Switch can also be integrated optionally as a cross-room
function in the SmartRadiator house solution.

Do not dispose of the device with regular domestic
waste!
Electronic equipment must be disposed of at local
collection points for waste electronic equipment in
compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Directive.
The CE Marking is simply an official symbol relating
to the free movement of a product; it does not
warrant a product’s characteristics.
Used batteries should not be disposed of with
regular domestic waste! Instead, take them to
your local battery disposal point.
6. Inserting (replacing) batteries
1. As-delivered condition
When you are starting up the device for the first time,
first remove the mounting plate (A) on the rear of the wall
thermostat (C).
• To do this, hold the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat firmly
in one hand and pull off the installation plate at one corner.

2. Installed condition
Once mounted, the SmartRadiator Wall
Thermostat can easily be pulled out of
the frame.
• Pull the Wall Whermostat (C) off the
wall together with the frame by pulling
sideways at the frame.
Change batteries
• Turn the Wall thermostat (C) over to remove or insert
the batteries according to the illustration. After removing
the old batteries, please wait approx. 60 seconds before
inserting the new ones.
• You can now enter two LR03 batteries (Micro/AAA) into
the battery compartment, making sure they are the right
way round according to the drawings
• Put the Wall Thermostat (C) back into the frame (B).
An empty battery symbol ( ) indicates that the
batteries need to be replaced. If, in addition, a V or S
are displayed, t he bat ter ie s of an Inc luded
SmartRadiator Controller (V) or Window Sensor (S)
have to be replaced.
Never recharge standard batteries. Doing so will
present a risk of explosion. Do not throw the batteries
into a fire. Do not short-circuit batteries.
7. Setting date and time (dAt)
After inserting or replacing batteries the firmware version
number will be shown briefly. Accordingly, date and time will
be requested automatically. Settings can be changed with

the (+) and (-) buttons and confirmed with the OK button.
• Set the year, month and date and confirm each setting
with the OK button.

Once the time and date were entered, the SmartRadiator
Wall Thermostat switches to normal operation.
If the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat was Included
to the SmartRadiator Gateway, the current date and
time will be transferred to the SmartRadiator Wall
Thermostat automatically.
During operation without the SmartRadiator Gateway
date and time can be changed at any time via „dAt“
in the configuration menu (see section 17).
8. Mounting
You can either use screws or adhesive strips to mount

the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat to a wall in the frame
supplied or integrate it into an existing switch (please refer
to sec. 9).
Adhesive strip mounting:
• Choose a site for installation. The surface on which you
are mounting the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat must
be clean, dry and greaseless.
• For mounting of the assembled SmartRadiator Wall
Thermostat, attach the adhesive strips to the back side
of the mounting plate. You should be able to read the
letters on the back side (according to figure).

• Use a pen to mark the positions of 2 bore holes A
(diagonally opposite) in the mounting plate on the wall.
The bore holes B can be used for installation with a
flush-mounting box.

• Remove the protective film from the adhesive strip.
• Press the assembled SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat with
the back side to the wall in the position where it should
subsequently be attached.
Screw mounting:
• Choose a site for installation.
Make sure that electrical lines in the wall will not be
damaged.
• Position the mounting plate on the desired site on
the wall. Make sure that the arrow on the mounting plate

• If you are working with a stone wall, drill the marked two
5 mm holes and insert the plugs supplied. If you are
working with a wooden wall, you can pre-drill 1.5 mm
holes to make screws easier to insert.
• Use the screws and plugs supplied to fasten the mounting
plate to the wall.
• Attach the wall thermostat with the frame on the mounting
plate. Make sure that the arrows on
the back side of the wall thermostat
point upwards and that the clips on
the mounting plate latch into the
openings on the wall thermostat.

9. Installation in multiple combinations
You can mount the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat with the
attachment frame provided or use it with frames of other
manufacturers as well as integrate the electronic unit into
a multi-gang frame. In both cases, mounting with adhesive
strips and screws is possible. For mounting with multiple
combinations, make sure that the mounting plate of the
SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat is seamlessly aligned to
the already fixed mounting plate/retaining ring.

10. Inclusion of SmartRadiator components
In order to use the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat in your
installation, you must teach it in to theSmartradiator system.
You can use the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat both in
conjunction with the SmartRadiator Gateway or without
using the SmartRadiator Gateway. The two possible usage
cases are described in the following sections.
10.1 Inclusion in System with the SmartRadiator
Gateway
The SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat is Included and
configured in combination with the SmartRadiator Wall
Thermostat via the local SmartRadiator PC Software. The
functions described in chapter 17 are then available via the
local SmartRadiator PC Software. The configuration menu
of the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat („Menu/Mode“)
button is deactivated in this case.
In order to teach in at the SmartRadiator gateway, proceed
as follows:
• Start the local SmartRadiator Software and click on

• The SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat is now integrated
in the system and can be configured in the software of
the respective room.

As soon as the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat has
been Included into a SmartRadiator, all data such as
date, time or week programme are transmitted to it
via the radio connection.
If you add a SmartRadiator Gateway to your system
later, you must reset all devices including the
SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat to the initial state
prior to Including it into the SmartRadiator Gateway.
All settings including your weekly profiles are deleted
in this process.
10.2.Inclusion in System without SmartRadiator
Gateway
With the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat you can set
up a single room solution with up to 8 SmartRadiator
Controllers and up to 8 SmartRadiator Window Sensors.
This solution can be operated without the SmartRadiator
Gateway. For this purpose Include the devices directly to
the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat. These then take over
the settings of the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat (e.g.
mode, temperature, weekly program).
These single room solutions can be connected only
via a SmartRadiator Gateway (see above).
TheSmartRadiator Eco Switch cannot be integrated
in a single room solution. A SmartRadiator Gateway
is necessary for the integration of this button.
To Include your components proceed as follows:
• First switch the teach-in partner (e.g. theSmartRadiator
Controller) according to Inclusion mode.
• Now enable theInclusion mode on the SmartRadiator Wall

Thermostat by pressing and holding down the OK button.
• The antenna symboll ( ) is displayed, along with the
Inclusion time remaining in seconds. The Inclusion time
is 30 seconds.
• After Inclusion was successfull, the SmartRadiator Wall
Thermostat switches into the standard operating mode.
11. Exclusing SmartRadiator Components (UnL)
During operation with the SmartRadiator Gateway, the
SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat and the other devices are
Included via the local SmartRadiator PC Software in the
respective room.
During operation without the SmartRadiator Gateway you
use the „UnL“ function in the menu in order to Exclude
devices that have been Included into the SmartRadiator
Wall Thermostat (e.g. SmartRadiator Controllers). All
SmartRadiator components are Excluded simultaneously.
To Exclude, proceed as follows:
• Select the “UnL” menu item with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• “ACC” will show on the display.
• Confirm with the OK button.
After the „UnL“ function all connection SmartRadiator
components are deleted from the SmartRadiator Wall
Thermostat ; factory setting is not mandatory.
12. Display content during normal operation
During normal operation, the operating mode, weekday,
nominal temperature, time, radio synchronicity and
switching periods are displayed.

The bars for switching periods of the week programme
are displayed for each time interval for which the nominal
temperature is above the reduced temperature. An example
can be found in sec. 17.1.1.
13. Operating modes
(Auto / Manu / Holiday function / Boost)
You can choose between the operating modes auto, manu
and holiday function:
Auto: Week programme – automatic temperature control
according to stored week programme.
Manu: Manual operation – the temperature is set
manually with the (+) and (-) buttons.
Holiday function ( ): Setting a temperature that
should be held until a fixed end time.
Boost ( BOOST ): Set boost funkction (sec. 17.5)
You can configure the settings for the operating modes
comfortly via the localSmartRadiator PC Software, when
operating the system with a SmartRadiator Gateway.
During operation without SmartRadiator Gateway, you
can change between the funtions by pressing the mode
button shortly.
If the operating mode or the temperature on one
devic e in the room is changed, all Included
SmartRadiator Controllers will adjust to this setting.

14. Child-proof lock / operating lock ( )
Basic operating lock
Operation of the device can be locked to avoid unintended
changes through involuntary touch. To (de)activate the
operating lock proceed as follows:
• Briefly press the Mode and the OK button simultaneously.
• Once activated, the operating lock symbol ( ) is shown
on the display.
Advanced operating lock function (Loc)
The advanced operating lock provides enhanced security
for the operation of the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat
Pro with the entry of a four-digit code. When the advanced
operating lock is activated on the Wall Thermostat Pro, the
device switches to auto mode automatically and operation
is reduced to adjusting the temperature using the (+) and
(-) buttons and/or the comfort ( ) and Setback( ) button.
The adjustable temperature range is also restricted. The
minimum and maximum temperature upper limits are
between 5.0°C and 24.0°C.
The advanced operating lock is deactivated in the initial
state.
Activating the operating lock:
• Press and hold down the „Menu“ button for more than
three seconds. Use the (+) button to select „Loc“ from
the menu and press OK to confirm.
• Next, enter the default four-digit code 1357. Use the (+)
and (-) buttons to select each digit one after the other.
Once you have selected the correct digit, press the OK
button to confirm. The cursor moves to the next digit
automatically.

• After you have selected the correct code, „ON“ or „OFF“
is displayed. Use the (+) or (-) button to select the required
state. „ON“ means that the advanced operating lock is
activated. „OFF“ deactivates the operating lock. Select
„ON“ and press the OK button to confirm.
• The advanced operating lock is now activated and the
-symbol is displayed.
• If you enter an incorrect code, the display switches back
to normal immediately.
Deactivating the operating lock:
• If the -symbol is displayed, the advanced operating
lock is activated.
• To deactivate it, press and hold down the „Menu“ button
for more than three seconds.
• Enter the default four-digit code. Use the (+) and (-) buttons
to select each digit one after the other. Once you have
selected the correct digits, press the OK button to confirm.
• After you have selected the correct code, „ON“ or „OFF“
is displayed. Select „OFF“ with the (-) button and press
OK to confirm.
• The display returns to normal. The -symbol is off and
the advanced operating lock is deactivated.
• If you enter an incorrect code, the display switches back
to normal immediately. The advanced operating lock
continues to be activated.
Changing the code:
• Press and hold down the „Menu“ button for more than
three seconds. Use the (+) button to select „Loc“ from
the menu and click OK to confirm.
• Enter the code stored in the memory as described above.
„ON“ or „OFF“ is displayed.

• Press the „Menu“ button again.
• Use the arrow buttons (+) and (-) to change each of the
four digits in the code one after the other. Press OK after
selecting each digit. The new code and „ON“ or „OFF“
are now displayed.
• Once you have selected all four digits, press the OK
button. Your code has now changed and the display
reverts to the normal view.
If you forget the code, the full functional scope of the
SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat Pro can only be
restored by per forming a factor y reset or via
theSmartRadiator Gateway (see Chap. 18 Resetting
to the initial state/Reset (rES)).
The code can only be changed on the device itself
and not via the local SmartRadiator PC software.
15. Setting heat pause (ON)
Battery life can be prolonged by switching the heating off
in summer. To achieve this, the valve is opened fully and the
calcification protection function continues to run.
To activate proceed as follows:
• In manual operation (Manu) press the (+) button
until “ON” is shown on the display.
To end proceed as follows:
• Exit manual operation (Manu) or press the (-) button
until the desired temperature is set.

If you operate your SmartRadiator system with a
SmartRadiator Gateway, you can conveniently set
the functions described in the following chapters
in the SmartRadiator PC Software in each room.
The following steps explain how these functions
are set when operating without SmartRadiator
Gateway. In combination with the SmartRadiator
Gateway these functions are deactivated at the
SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat.
Settings can be changed in the Configuration menu when
using systems without a Gateway. The menu can be accessed by pressing the Mode button for more than 3 seconds.
The menu items are selected with the (+) and (-) button and
confirmed with the OK button. A subsequent pressing of the
Mode button reverts to the previous level. The menu closes
automatically after 60 seconds of inactivity.

17.1 Setting the week programmes(Pro)
In the week programme, for each weekday up to 6 heating
phases (13 change settings) can be set separately. The
programming is carried out for the days chosen, whereby
temperature settings have to be set for the entire period
between 00:00 and 23:59.
• Press the Mode button for more than 3 seconds.
The display will show “Pro”.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button. The display

will show “dAy”.
• Select an individual weekday, all weekdays, the
weekend or the entire week with the (+) and (-) buttons (i.e. weekdays).
• Confirm setting with the OK button.
• Now set the end time of the first time period (i.e.
6:00 am for the period 0:00 – 6:00 am).
• Confirm setting with the OK button.
• With the (+) and (-) buttons select the chosen temperature for the previously chosen time period (i.e.
17.0°C).
• Confirm setting with the OK

In Auto mode the selected week programme will be automatically adopted by all Included SmartRadiator Controllers.
In Auto mode the temperature can be changed at any

will be maintained until the next phase in the timer programme starts.
Programming directly on the device is only possible,
if the device is not Included into the SmartRadiator
Gateway.
17.1.1 Week programmes: Examples
For each day of the week up to 6 heating phases (13
change settings) with individual temperature settings can
be saved with the Wall Thermostat. The factory settings

17.3 Switching nominal/actual temperature (S-A)
In the factory settings, the display will show the nominal
temperature. In the configuration menu, you can change
the display setting from nominal to acutal temperature.
• Open the configuration menu by pressing the menu button.
• Select the (S-A) menu item with the (+) and (-) buttons
and confirm with the OK button.
• Now set the format you want to show on the display („SEt“
for the nominal temperature and „ACt“ for the actual temperature) with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm setting with the OK button.
If the actual temperature is selected,
the display will disbplay „SEt“ for 5
seconds on change of the nominal
temperature (or on change of mode).
Afterwards, the display automatically
changes back to actual temperature.

17.4 Comfort and Setback temperature (
)
The Comfort ( ) and Setback ( ) temperature buttons
make switching between comfort and setback temperature
simple and user friendly. The factory setting for the comfort
temperature is 21.0°C and the setback temperature 17.0°C.
When using systems without Gateway, the comfort and
setback temperature can be changed via corresponding
buttons as follows:
• Press the comfort ( ) / setback ( ) temperature button
for a few seconds.
• The display shows the respective symbol and the corresponding comfort or setback temperature.
• Change the temperature with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm setting with the OK button.
Even in Auto mode the temperature can be changed with
this button at any time. However, the change will only be
maintained until the next phase the timer programme starts.
17.5 Set boost function ( BOOST , bOS)
The Boost function can create the sensation of a rise in
room temperature to the human body. When activated the
radiator valve will immediately be adjusted to 80% valve
opening for 5 minutes (factory setting). The heating of a
room takes longer than 5 minutes but the radiated heat
from a radiator can be sensed immediately.
• To activate the Boost function press the OK button. Once
the Boost time has completed the Wall Thermostat will
switch back to the previously active mode (Auto/Manu)
and the previously set temperature.

• The Boost function can be deactivated at any time by a
renewed press of the OK button.
The count-down in second intervals of the remaining functioning time (e.g “300” to “000”) and BOOST will be shown
on the display.
The length and valve opening of the Boost function can be
individually adjusted as follows:
• Press the Menu button for more than 3 seconds.
• Select the “bOS” menu item with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• Use the (+) and (-) buttons to set the duration of the Boost
from 0 to 30 minutes (0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 mins.). Choosing 0 will deactivate this function.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• Subsequently set the valve opening between 0 and 100%
in 5% increments with the (+) and (-) buttons. The larger
the valve opening, the higher will be the heat emitted
by the radiator.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
If a long “Boost period” and a large valve opening
have been set the radiator can get very hot. After
changing the factory setting check that the radiator
is not heated excessively.
The radiant heat will have no immediate effect if the
radiator is covered up (e.g. by a settee).

If the duration of the “Boost function” is set so that
999 seconds are exceeded (e.g. via the SmartRadiator Gateway) the display will show the duration in
minutes.
17.6 Switchover for summer/winter time
You can change the automatic switchover for summer/winter time for the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat (as factory
default enabled).
• Press and hold down the Mode button for longer than
3 seconds.
• Use the (+) and (-) buttons to select „dSt“ from the menu
and press OK to confirm.
• „ON“ or „OFF“ is displayed. Use the (+) or (-) button to
select the required state. „ON“ means that automatic
switchover is activated. „OFF“ deactivates automatic
switchover. Select the required state and press the OKbutton to confirm.
17.7 Setting the holiday function (
)
If you want to maintain a fixed temperature during your
holidays or a party the holiday function can be used.
• Briefly press the Mode button repeatedly until the suitcase
symbol ( ) appears on the display.
• Set the end time until which you want the temperature
to be held.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• Set the end date until which you want the holiday function
to be set.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• Set the temperature and press OK. The display will flash
to confirm.
The set temperature will remain until the set end time.
Afterwards the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat will switch

to Auto mode. Radio control commands like those from a
window contact or the weekly de-scaling run will still be
performed.
17.8 Setting valve protection function (dEC)
To prevent the build-up of lime scale in the valve a so called
“de-scaling run” will be performed weekly for the radiator
thermostats. You can change the set time for this function
(factory setting: Saturday, 12:00 p.m.) as follows:
• Press the Menu button for more than 3 seconds.
• Select the “dEC” menu item with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• Select the weekday with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• Select the time with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
While the “de-scaling run” is performed the display will
show “CAL”.
17.9 Open window function / airing (
, AEr)
During the airing of a room the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat will automatically reduce the room temperature to
save heating costs. Meanwhile, in this phase the display
of the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat and all Included devices will show the open window symbol ( ).
Combined with a SmartRadiator Window Sensor the opening and closing of a window will be detected time-accurate. The temperature will only be reduced to the factory
setting of 12° C while the window is opened. Once the

Smartradiator Window Sensor registers the closing of the
window, all components installed in the room will be reset
to the previous mode.
To change the reduced temperature setting proceed as
follows:
• Press the Mode button for more than 3 seconds.
• Select the “AEr” menu item with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• Set the temperature with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
17.10 Setting the offset temperature (tOF)
As the temperature is measured on the room control unit the
temperature distribution can vary throughout a room. To
adjust this, a temperature offset of ±3.5°C can be set. If a
nominal temperature of e.g. 20°C is set at the room control unit but the room presents with only 18°C an offset of
-2.0°C needs to be set.
• Press the Menu button for more than 3 seconds.
• Select the “tOF” menu item with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• Set the offset temperature with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
18. Exclusion / Reset (rES)
The initial state of the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat can
be restored manually, e.g. to Include a single room solution
to a SmartRadiator Gateway or to re-install an incorrectly

operating system. Restoring the initial state deletes all settings and information about Included devices.
Before you reset the SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat
to the factory settings, first delete the device from
theSmartRadiator PC software when operating with
the SmartRadiator Gateway.
Before you Include a single room solution with a
SmartRadiator Wall Thermostat to a SmartRadiator
Gateway, you must reset all devices to the initial state.
• Press the Menu button for more than 3 seconds.
• Select the “rES” menu item with the (+) and (-) buttons.
• Confirm the setting with the OK button.
• The display will show “ACC”, confirm restored factory
settings with the OK button.
19. Information about radio operation
Radio transmission is performed on a non-exclusive transmission path, which means that there is a possibility of interference occurring. Interference can also be caused by
switching operations, electrical motors or defective electrical devices. The range of transmission within buildings can
differ greatly from that available in the open air. Besides the
transmitting power and the reception characteristics of the
receiver, environmental factors such as humidity in the vicinity have an important role to play, as do on-site structural/
