FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome back to Term 4 and a huge welcome to the
couple of new families who have started this term. We
hope your boys are settling in well and the whole family
soon feels that it is a part of the Grammar Community.
Our first event for this term is the ever popular Father
and Son breakfast on Thursday 23 October which Year 5
are kindly coordinating. The invitation to this went out
this week with all the information and a link to
Trybooking (www.trybooking.com/FXTT) You will also
find this link in the School Newsletter. Please book as
soon as possible - you have a week left to do so - as it
really helps with the catering as all the food has to be
ordered in ahead of time If you are able to help either
on the day (6.30am-9am) or with the set up on
the Wednesday afternoon (1.30- pick up) please contact
me. All boys coming need to be accompanied by an
adult. Please feel free to ask Uncles, Grandfathers,
Godparents, another Dad at school if your son’s Dad is
unable to attend for any reason.
I trust you all have Saturday 1 November in your diary
and plan to come to our FAMILY FUN DAY. There has
been a lot of effort and organisation go into making this
a fantastic community event and I really encourage all of
you to support us both by coming on the day and
volunteering a little of your time to help.
Special Food Day is Monday 10 November for which
more details will come out nearer the time. Year 6
parents are busy putting the final touches to the Year 6
Dinner at the end of November. There will be the
Orientation Mornings for new families coming into the
School next year and finally the General
Meeting/AGM/Volunteer Thank You Morning Tea
which will be held on Thursday 13 November. Please
School Hall
put all these dates into your diary and enjoy being
involved in our great Grammar Community!

The PA Executive Committee has sent emails out to a

BREAKFAST AT TUCKSHOP
Tuckshop now offers breakfast at School every morning
for boys who attend a before school activity but may not
have had a chance to eat a proper breakfast before
leaving home. It will be served from the Tuckshop
at 8.20am and can be ordered in two ways. Our
preferred way is by writing your order on a paper bag,
placing the money in the bag and then handing it in to
Carol on the way to the activity when your son arrives at
School. Carol will then have the order ready
at 8.20am for your son to pick up from the
Tuckshop. Alternatively they can just go to the
Tuckshop at the end of their activity (8.20am) and ask
for breakfast but they may have to wait.
We offer:
1 slice of raisin toast plus your choice of a juice popper,
flavoured milk ‘popper’ (chocolate, strawberry or plain)
or bottle of water $2.00
OR
A toasted English muffin with vegemite plus your choice
of a juice popper, flavoured milk ‘popper’ (chocolate,
strawberry or plain) or bottle of water $2.00
Extra slice of raisin toast or muffin $0.80
Once we see how this goes we will consider adding in
other breakfast items such as cereal.
