Jonathan Bowman, Esq. will review easy to adopt leadership
principles that will turn challenges into victories. He will share how
to imagine and set a clear picture vision for life and work

In this session Laurie Paulus, CPMSM, CPCS, Heather Davis,
CPMSM, CPCS and Julie Simmons, CPMSM, CPCS will
provide information on a new approach to credentialing:,
standardizing credentialing across a health system, utilizing
real world examples of pitfalls and successes.
 Delegation Agreements, Audits and NCQA
What should be included in delegation agreements? What are
sub-delegation agreements? When you have a delegation
agreement what is the auditor looking for in your credentials
file? Why are they looking for certain elements? In this
session Michelle Gettings, Manager Credentialing, Market &
Network Services, Susanne Sande, Credentialing Audit
Coordinator and Tracy Farago, Senior Credentialing
Coordinator for CHN will answer these questions and more.
 Legal Update
What are the recent cases affecting the medical staff
professional and how they credential and privilege a
provider? What is the latest from the National
Practitioner Data Bank updated guidelines and reporting
requirements? Catherine Ballard, Attorney will give an
update on recent and relevant legal cases as well as the
latest on the NPDB guidelines.

PAYMENT/REFUNDS
Payment or proof of employer check request is required with
your reservation. A refund of the registration fee will be made
to registrants notifying OAMSS of cancellation by October 17,
2014, minus a $50.00 processing fee will be charged for each
cancellation. No refunds will be issued after October 18,
2014, but you may substitute another person. There will be
no refunds for no-shows. All refunds will be processed 4 – 6
weeks after the conference.
