October 11, 2012 Crown Point Christian School Encouragement Corner: Each week the office attempts to keep our school family informed by way of the Gold Note. This information helps us bridge communication from the school to your home keeping you updated on meeting times, committee input, weekly activities going on in the school, hot lunch days, fund raising events, etc. This year we would like to make our communication a little more personal and interesting by adding a few pictures, an update on board functions and adding a special corner called Encouragement Highlights. In this corner, parents and grandparents can give testimonials, the faculty and board members can give positive expressions, etc. Topics can flow from positive experiences such as: + Why CPCS is such a blessing to our family! + The privilege of serving as volunteers as board members or on special committees. + Why I find joy in teaching at CPCS. + Why we sacrifice to send our children to a Christian School. You get the picture! All positive comments about living the Christian life and being a part of belonging to the CPCS family. Turn in your note for this corner to the school office with your signature or email to [email protected]. Once again Meijer is offering bonus Box Tops for purchases made at their store. I enjoy working on a team with others. I like coming to school where change and development continues in a Christ-centered way.” “My love for the Lord—sharing about Him—teaching His word everyday to the children and showing His love. The freedom to speak about Christ.” “The staff and families at CPCS make me feel like I am part of a family. The students bring me joy everyday and really humble me with their awesome faith. I am often encouraged to grow in My faith at this job.” “I have the opportunity to shepherd God’s children, be an example, and guide children toward a deeper relationship with their Savior.” Thank you to all the families who sent in Box Tops and Labels for Education.
