She will however continue teaching and retain her full time teaching status. Mrs Irvin will continue on in the role as Acting Assistant Principal. I would like to thank Ms Grace for the contributions she has made to our school in her position as Assistant Principal. This Wednesday, the 15th October is Stillborn and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. To mark this significant day there will be a special candle lighting ceremony at the conclusion of next Sunday morning’s 10am Mass. Any parent and/or grandparent who has endured the loss of a child is welcomed to come forward and light a candle in your baby's honour. If you have a special one you would prefer to use please bring it along. We are very excited about this and expect it to be a great creative learning adventure for our students. As per the note that was sent home at the end of last term, all students will be involved in the concert and are expected to wear an all black outfit consisting of the following: LONG BLACK SKIRT OR LONG BLACK PANTS/TROUSERS BLACK SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT/T-SHIRT (NO TANKS OR SINGLET TOPS) STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE BARE FEET NO WHITE OR COLOUR PARTS ON CLOTHES PLEASE This does not apply to students who have been given a ‘character role’ and a separate notice has been given to those students regarding their own costume requirements. Gardens open at 9am and viewing continues until dusk. The cost is $10 per person, which includes entry to all gardens and a location map (available outside the Visitors Centre in Narrandera Park from 9am to 2.30pm on the day) and Devonshire Tea at the Uniting Church Hall. A light lunch will be on offer in a garden at a cost of $8.
