Review of EICC’s new Code of Conduct 5.0, and its impact on risk assessments, audits, and corrective action 8:30 a.m. – 12 noon Trainers: Patrick Neyts, Senior Advisor and EICC VAP Audit Program Manager, Vectra International; Billy Grayson, Program Director, EICC This year EICC passed a new Code of Conduct, our first code edits since 2011. The new EICC code has over forty changes - expanding worker protections and outlining new facility responsibilities for health and safety and environmental sustainability. With a new code, the EICC is also launching a new audit protocol, which will help both facilities and auditors confirm whether facilities have successfully integrated these new code provisions into their policies and operations. During this 3-hour training session, Mr. Nyets and Mr. Grayson will go through the new audit protocol section-bysection, providing detailed instruction on the new audit provisions and what auditors will look for in their on-site assessments. They will also provide guidance for facilities on how to develop effective policies and programs to work towards fulfilling the new code requirements.
