DAPQAR ACTIVITIES
1. In an interactive session which took place at the ICT Centre on 5th August 2014, under the auspices of DAPQAR, a
visiting scholar from USA, Mr. Lee O. Kareem, who is also the President of Biotronics, Inc and Chief Executive
Officer of Nigeria-USA Chamber of Commerce spoke to selected lectures from COSIT on biotronics and the vast
benefits the university can derive from collaborations with American agencies and Nigerians based in America.
2. On 13th August 2014, in two consecutive presentations for selected staff and students respectively, an American
social media expert and strategist, Ms Lisa L Flowers trained participants at the ICT Centre on “ The use of Social
media in the teaching and learning process”. Forty-five (45) members of staff and sixty-two (62) students were in
attendance.
