Please read the following information carefully. A review of the registration procedures will assist with a successful registration process. IMPORTANT DATES GENERAL INFORMATION: Walk-in registration for all classes will begin when the Granada Hills Recreation Center opens at 9:00am on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Registration will continue until a class fills. Payment in full may be made by cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard. Cash must be in exact amount. Checks are to be made payable to “City of L.A. Department of Recreation and Parks”. Check must contain name & address printed by the bank. Valid drivers license and/or picture ID required for all checks. A collection fee will be charged for each check returned by the bank. Class fees will NOT be prorated. Class must be paid in full at time of registration. Staff reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if minimum enrollment is not met by October 6, 2014. Students must meet the class age requirements by the session start date. Staff reserves the right to require proof of age at any time. It is the parent’s responsibility to get the child to class without phone notice from the Recreation Center. Make-ups will not be scheduled when class is missed by a student. No refunds and/or credits are given for classes missed. Make-ups for holidays or classes canceled by the instructor will be scheduled at the end of the session. Neither the City of Los Angeles nor Granada Hills Recreation Center carries insurance! Patrons must carry their own insurance. All information in the brochure is subject to change without prior notice. The classes & programs in this brochure may be subject to cancellation. REFUND POLICY: Full refunds are only issued when the Recreation Center cancels the activity. A 15% cancellation fee is assessed for all refunds. Changes or transfers per class, sports league or day camp registration may be assessed additional fees. After the first day of a session, the Recreation Center issues a partial refund to patrons withdrawing from the activity. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing of all refunds. If you don’t remember it, click “Forgot your Username or Password?” and it will be emailed to you. 6. To add another participant, click on “New Participant” and enter their information. 7. In the next screen, click on the name in the participant box who will be registered for the activity. To register multiple participants for the same activity, hold down the “CTRL” button on your keyboard and select all of the names. NOTE: If a participant is not the proper age it will not let you register for the activity. Click “NEXT” when you are done. 8. Enter your credit card number (with no spaces or dashes) as well as the expiration date. We only accept VISA or MASTERCARD. Once again, make sure your billing address for that specific card matches with the address on the screen. When you are done click “NEXT”. This may take up to a few minutes to complete the process. DO NOT click on “NEXT” more than once (this could result in multiple charges). 9. Don’t forget to print your receipt. REFUND POLICY: Full refunds are only issued when the Recreation Center cancels the activity. A 15% cancellation fee is assessed for all refunds. After the first day of a session, the Recreation Center issues a partial refund to patrons withdrawing from the activity. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing of all refunds.
