Now through Thursday, November 21, all Eastside Catholic parents and friends are encouraged to procure or donate items for the auction. For each procurement form you turn in or for each donation you enter online, your family will be entered into a drawing for that week -- enter by donating or procuring as many weeks as you like. The first drawing will be held on Monday, October 20 for all donations received by October 19. The winner of each drawing will receive a $100 dining gift card. COLLEGE PANEL The college counselors are hosting their 4th annual college panel on Thursday, October 30 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the Commons. Also, what are the differences between a small, highly selective liberal arts college; a large, Division 1 research intensive university; and a selective, mid-size Catholic school? The more you practice taking the test, the more comfortable you will be taking the real thing! MS BOOK CLUB STARTING - MONDAY, OCTOBER 20 The newest MS club on campus, Book Club, will meet Monday, October 20 in the Library during middle school lunch! Has your student read anything good lately? Do they love books? Do they want to talk about what they've been reading? Do they want to participate in a Battle of the Books? Then maybe the EC Middle School Book Club is for them! We'll meet Mondays at lunch time in the library (bring your lunch to the library). HOLY FAMILY KIRKLAND HOSTS SEVENTH DEANERY DANCE - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24 AND EIGHTH -GRADE All ECMS seventh- and eighth-grade students are invited to attend the "Seahawks" themed deanery dance hosted by Holy Family Kirkland on Friday, October 24 from 7-9 p.m. in HFK school cafeteria. Students are required to bring their ASB card and signed permission slip. This dance is only for students of invited deanery schools so ECMS students are not permitted to invite friends from other schools. Students must comply with HFK dress code; "NO tank tops, halter tops, bagging or sagging pants, skimpy skirts or bare mid-riffs." Cell phones use is limited to the lobby. MIDDLE SCHOOL YEARBOOK Middle School Yearbook is looking for applicants from grades 6-8 who can meet after school once a week from October to April for an hour. Please note the day of the weekly meeting has not been decided and will depend on the club's members. MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLING BEGINS OCTOBER 27 Middle school wrestling begins October 27. There will be an informational meeting in the commons tomorrow right after school with Coach Roybal.
