Fort McHenry Park is
getting a face lift! The park is
located on Front Royal Drive
in the Whispering Oaks
subdivision. Much of the
wooden playground features
in the park are outdated and in
need of replacement. The city consulted with the
company that originally oversaw construction of
the project to ensure the integrity of the park
remains unchanged. The park will remain closed
until renovations are completed in mid to late
November. Fort McHenry is a community-built
project constructed that was constructed 20 years
ago.

in-place pipe commonly known as CIPP. The
demonstration was held in Buffalo Grove, IL and
provided a unique opportunity to view project
staging, residential impact, and real-time product
installation. CIPP technology allows for
rehabilitation of deteriorated water mains while
they remain in place. Minimal excavations results
in less impact to residential communities and
reduced costs to restore roads, parkways, and
driveways.
