 There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, October 29th at 2:30 pm in Room C14 for all those going on the YALE MODEL CONGRESS trip in December. We still
have a few spots open. See Ms. Boland in Room C-14 for more information.
 Attention all SPANISH CLUB MEMBERS! We will be having our annual Day of the
Dead celebration this Thursday, October 29th at 2:30 pm in Room C-1. Please bring a
picture, drawing or memento of someone who has passed away and who you would like
to honor.
 UNDERCLASS STUDENTS! UNCLAIMED SCHOOL PHOTO PACKAGES can be
picked up in the Media Center.
 SUMMER PROGRAMS AND STUDY ABROAD FAIR – TONIGHT at 7:00 pm –

 The 2014 Fall Trumbull High School Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on
Thursday, November 20, 2014. All appointments for afternoon or evening conference
must be made on line at www.ths.schoolappointments.com beginning at 6:00 am on
Monday, October 27, 2014 and ending at 6:00 am on Monday, November 17, 2014.

 To all EAGLE’S EYE Editors and Staff Writers: Just a reminder that Layout Night
will be next Wednesday and Thursday, October 29th and 30th. All editors and staff

 Start your candy stash now by bringing non-perishable canned goods to school from
October 27th – October 31st for TRICK OR TREAT SO KIDS CAN EAT ! A
nationwide community service initiative sponsored by the THESPIAN SOCIETY.
Bring your cans to the Thespian table at lunch. 1 item = 2 jolly ranchers, 2-4 items = 2
jolly ranchers and 1 airhead, 5+ items = goody bag filled with candy!!
 Students who are attending the HARVEST BALL and would like to leave early must
submit their “early dismissal permission forms” to their House Office TODAY .
Students who submit their forms after TODAY will receive passes after 11:00 am on
the day of the dance.
 The BIG Y SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE ARRIVED! Deadline is February 1, 2015.

 The PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB will be meeting in Room B-2 on Thursday, October 30th.
Bring your camera and some photos.
 HALLOWEEN FRENCH CLUB!! Thursday, October 30th in Room C-21!! Join us
for candy, games, etc. Bring your costume to wear!! There will be prizes-funniest,
scariest and most creative. Please bring candy, snacks or drinks.
 TWO WEEKS LEFT TO APPLY FOR PRUDENTIAL SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY
AWARDS! The deadline for the 2015 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is
quickly approaching. Awards are granted to students in every state. Top honorees
earn cash prizes and an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. for four days of
special recognition events. Here’s how students can apply: Visit

student/parent agreement by November 4, 2014. Hand deliver certification instructions

 UNDERCLASS PHOTO RETAKES will be on Wednesday, October 29th during
periods 3-7 in the Senior Lounge. Students who did not yet have a picture taken must
come down and take a picture. Students who would like to have a retake must bring
their original package plus a $5 retake fee. Teachers are also welcome to have a photo
taken. Extra photo forms are available in house offices.
 All students are invited to join one of the “TeenGroupTalks ” on Tuesdays, Period 4 in
Room C-1 and Thursdays Period 6 in A-15. Students must have lunch, a study hall or
specific permission to attend from their classroom teacher. The Thursday group
begins on the 23rd and Tuesday begins on the 28th of this month, the group meets
weekly and will through January. Please see your guidance counselor or Mr. Mecca
for more information.
 ALL FRESHMAN, with 4th and 5th period lunch, need to bring a bagged lunch on
Thursday, October 30th, the day of the Truth About Hate Assembly.

 THE DRIVER’S LICENSE ROAD TEST is available at Trumbull High School
scheduled by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Applicants need to have completed all
requirements, by the test date, to be eligible. Fees are $75.00 payable to THS Driver
Education. A minimum of 2 hours behind the wheel instruction at THS @ $45.00 per
hour.
$40 payable to the DMV if applicant previously failed the road test.
Available dates as of October27, 2014 are:
December 3rd and 17th
January 7th and 28th
February 4th and 18th
Applications for the Road Test are available in A House Office and outside the
Continuing Education Office. All paper work must be complete before the appointment
can be confirmed. All behind the wheel instruction needs to be completed by the test
date. Plan ahead.
