EPSA® 2.0
1. Getting Started
To use EPSA®, all you need is:
a) A flash enabled internet browser.
b) Java Runtime Environment plugin for your internet browser. Only required for some
courses.
c) Adobe Reader for viewing pdf documents.
d) A stable internet connection. Recommended minimum speed is 1MB.

e) A registered user account. Please note that EPSA can only be registered by official
government servants of Malaysia.
To start using EPSA®, launch any of the internet browser;
Best viewed with FireFox, Chrome and Safari. Internet Explorer(required some configurations).

2. EPSA® Portal
2.1. Open an internet browser and key in the EPSA® 2.0 internet address (URL)
http://www.epsa.gov.my onto the browser address bar.
2.2. The front portal page will appear as shown below:

4. Login
4.1. To login into EPSA®
a)
Enter your username and password.
b)
If you have entered a wrong login credentials, the system will prompt you to try again.
c)
Log-in information (username and password) are as follows:
Username : 12 Digits of Identity Card (IC) Number
Password : eps@ follow by last 6 Digits of IC Number
(eg. eps@123456)

NOTE: Access to EPSA is ONLY for registered EPSA users.
5. Dashboard

Upon successful login, users will be presented with the EPSA dashboard as shown below:

5.2. Personal Profile
The Personal Profile portlet on the right hand side
shows your
a)
Username
b)
Full name
c)
E-mail address
d)
The department you belong to (if any)
To edit any of the information, click on the
link at the top right of the screen
and you will see a screen as shown below.
5.3. To change your profile picture or avatar
a)
Click on the 'Avatar' link below your profile picture.
b)
The system will display a file upload field and instructions for the image.
c)
After selecting your new image file, click on 'Save Changes'.
5.4. To update your profile
a)
Click on the 'Edit' link
b)
A form with all the necessary fields will be displayed.
c)
After making changes, click on the 'Save Changes' button.

6. Starting the Courses
6.1. Please note that all the seven (7) Mandatory Courses is already pre-enrolled as listed
below:

6.2. From the dashboard you can start your pre-enrolled courses as shown below:
6.3. Select on the ALMP Mandatory Courses link in the middle of the dashboard as shown
above to enter the course area as shown below. You can also access your courses
by clicking the myELearning tab below the menu on the left of the screen.

6.4. Click on the 'Course Documents' link on the left-hand side menu to view the list of
courses and assessments that you will need to attend as shown below.
6.5. After clicking on the link, you will see a listing of course material and assessment as
shown below.
6.6. Click on the course name to begin your lesson. The system will then display the
course content with the lesson navigation menu on the left hand side and the content
presentation on the right.

6.7. Please note that the course status indicators are as shown on the legend located at
the top left hand side corner. As you progress through the course, the status will
change to either Not attempted, Incomplete or Completed.
6.8. You do not have to complete the entire course in one sitting. You may choose to stop
and continue later on whenever you wish. To close the course, simply click on the
'Close' button located at the top right corner of the screen.
6.9. The course status will be indicated with an icon next to the course name.
6.10. The overall progress and statistic of the course can be viewed by clicking on the
'View'
icon.
6.11. The statistics page will show you the detailed progress of your lesson in the course.
6.12. Users are not required to complete every lesson above because they are for your
knowledge and to aid you in answering the course assessments.
6.13. Users must attempt all the seven (7) mandatory course assessments and must obtain
the minimum passing marks of 50% and above.
6.14. Users can repeat the course assessments to improve their scores. However only the
last attempted score with be forwarded to the ALMP secretariat regardless of your
previous attempted scores.
7. Logout
Please DO NOT FORGET to logout from the system when not in use to prevent unauthorized
access into your account. The logout button is located on the top right corner of the screen.
