Almighty God,
you have knit together your elect
in one communion and fellowship
in the mystical body of your Son Christ our Lord:
grant us grace so to follow your blessed saints
in all virtuous and godly living
that we may come to those inexpressible joys
that you have prepared for those who truly love you;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

WE ARE DELIGHTED to welcome Noah Beale into the Christian family today at
Holy Trinity Church and to celebrate with Dan, Amber and Violet on this special
day. We also welcome all of their family and friends to the service. Dan and Amber
also want to say that following the service, there will be food and drinks at the
Deanshanger sports and social club to which everyone is welcome.
WE WELCOME GRIFF as our preacher at 8am, and Graham Breeze as our preacher
at 9:30am. It is a first time preaching with us for both of them. Please hold them
both in your prayers as they break open God's Word for us, and give thanks for their
ministry. On this All Saints' Day we remember the example of Jesus and the Saints
who have gone before us and we strive to follow in Christ's footsteps in the way that
leads to eternal life.

REMEMBRANCE
EMBRANCE SUNDAY Next week it is our Remembrance Sunday service. This
means that the service pattern will alter so that the only Holy Communion service
will be at 8am. The service in St George's Church will begin at 10am and is followed
by an Act of Remembrance with the whole community in the Square from 10:55am.
There is no service at Holy Trinity next week.

LEADING PRAYERS We are looking to find some people who might be interested in leading us in
prayer. This is a wonderful gift to offer to our church, and if you might be interested in doing this, we
will be having a few get-togethers to talk about intercessions, why we have them in the service, what
makes good intercessions, and have a go at writing some for ourselves. Coming along to this does not
commit you to leading interecessions - but it might help you explore if you have a gift in this area! If
you would like to know more - please speak either to me or a Churchwarden.

WINTER NIGHT SHELTER As in previous years, St George’s will be offering somewhere safe to
sleep and providing an evening meal on Friday nights. This will begin in the first week of
December and run for 15 weeks (until mid-March). People will be needed to cook, make beds,
play games, talk to people, clear up, sleep over and do breakfast. Speak to Graham to get
involved or to find out how you can help [email protected], or check out the
MKwinter night shelter website www.winternightsheltermk.com.
