Lisbon Central School October 30, 2014 Daily Announcements Attention Girls’ Soccer Team: you have practice today, but we will be staying at the school. Let your parents know to pick up in front of the school today. Yesterday the Boys’ Cross Country team finished up their season with a fifth place finish in the League Championships at Giddings Park in Franklin. Leading the way for Lisbon was Nick Shea finishing 11th, Nick Melinger with a sprinting finish to finish 17th. Brady Latourneau was 23rd, Blake Palmer 25th, Kyle Dudek 37th, Kyle McCabe 38th, Tawaf Mian 40th, rounding out the top 7 runners for Lisbon. Elliot Johnson and Blake Lapierre respectfully 44th and 45th. There were a total of 81 runners and 6 schools represented. Great Job by all Lisbon runners. Stayed tuned for Banquet information. Our very own Lady Cougars Cross Country team won the League Championships yesterday afternoon at Franklin. The top 20 runners were: Brianna Surfus in 19th, Lindsey Paradis in 15th, Skyler Arpin in 13th, Carley Sobansky in 12th, Victoria Prokop in 4th, Kaelen Fabry in 3rd, Kayla Park in 2nd and Ally Lewis in 1st. As a team, the girls scored a total of 22 points --- beating St pat’s by 50 points!!! All runners did an amazing job - make sure to congratulate them today. There is a boys' soccer game at the Lisbon Meadows vs. Voluntown today. On Friday, the boys' will be playing their last game of the regular season at home vs. Salem. The boys' soccer team appreciates all the parents, students and fans that are at the games cheering them on.
