CHURCH FACILITY USAGE
CLARIFICATION
As you know, our Church voted several years ago to allow Sunday School Classes & Church Ministry Groups
to have usage of our New Fellowship Hall, our Old Fellowship Hall, or our entire Family Life Center at No
Cost to them. Obviously, this is on a “first come, first serve” basis. Their only requirement is “to leave
the facility exactly like they found it.” Our chur ch also decided that with all the above ar eas available for
usage, there would be No Need for our New Building to be used for any activities except Sunday School,
AWANA & “HIS Kids”!
No outside groups ar e allowed to use our facilities unless special appr oval is given by the Deacons, Building & Property Committee & Pastor. We do allow members to rent any of the above facilities for $25 each
for birthday parties, family events and other special occasions. Again, whoever rents any part of our facilities
are required to leave it just like they found it. Also, our Facility Use Form must be completed in advance
by the person requesting to use any area of our building, and the rental fee must be paid at the time of completing the form. Failure to fulfill both of these requirements will prevent the specific facility from being reserved for that particular event.
Finally, if you have been granted use of a particular area of our facilities, then everyone in your group
(especially children) ar e required to stay in that area. They ar e not permitted “to play and/or wander”
through our Church because the remainder of our facilities are clean & ready for Sunday!
Hopefully, this article will help clarify any confusion anyone may have had concerning the usage of certain areas of our facilities.

Dear Jan,
Just wanted to let you know what a great job you and the His Kids Staff are doing. We decided that we were ready to
move Amelia to our Church Daycare. We toured HIS Kids one afternoon on a drop-in visit and we were reminded of
what a great ministry that it is. The level of professionalism each worker possessed was impressive. The children were
content, the workers were smiling, the halls were quite, the rooms were organized and clean. Babies were being rocked,
teachers playing with the toddlers, drippy noses quickly tended to, hands being washed. Everything we were looking
for. Oh, and Christian curriculum, values, and atmosphere to boot! I’m very thankful you had a spot open for our
Amelia. I’m looking forward to her starting with you and your staff Monday morning. What a Mighty God we Serve!
Sarah Fancher
The only thing that I can add to what Sarah so beautifully said is “AMEN!” “ENOUGH SAID!”
I hope you will carefully read the inside article concerning “Church Pictorial Directory Updates.” We really do need your help
and cooperation in this area. Here is why….do you realize that every family that joins our chur ch receives a Pictorial
Directory? If you would take a look at your cur r ent dir ector y, many of you would not r ecognize your self or your family.
Some of your pictures are 10 years old. We need a new updated picture of you and your family. Men, ditch the Leisure
Suit….put on those Skinny Jeans….take a New Picture of you & your family….and email it to Melinda Flowers at
[email protected], or you can snail mail it to her , or even bring it to Melinda at chur ch. Whichever way you
choose, please get us that New Picture Soon!
I want to encourage you to purchase your tickets for our Christmas Dinner Theater when you arrive at church this Sunday
morning. It is scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, December 12, 13 & 14. Seating is limited. Once all the
tickets are sold, we will have “no room in the inn” for anyone else. Each night you will enjoy a delicious meal while being
ministered to by our Choir s and Dr ama Team! (Tickets r equir ed for Sunday Night also.)
And speaking of Sunday, I am praying everyone is back from their trips and will be in Sunday School and Worship Services this
week. On Sunday morning, I will be preaching the second of three sermons in the series, “Living Thanksgiving.” We should
get back over 750 in Sunday School this week. In fact, I am confident we will because I believe in your faithfulness to the
Lord and His Church! See you Sunday!
His & Yours,
Bro. James

There are many families of our church who do not even have a
picture in our Directory. There are other families whose picture
in the Directory is out-of-date. Some of you have had children
since your current picture was made. Some of your pictures have
been in the Directory so long that the baby you are holding is now
a teen-ager!
Here’s the point - - Please take only 5 minutes and take a
picture of your family. (You can do that in your home.) Then
email that picture to Melinda Flowers here at the Church office.
Melinda’s email address is [email protected].
If you do not have access to email, then either bring your updated picture to the church office this Sunday or mail it to Melinda.
Please get your family picture to Melinda as soon as possible!
