Three local musicians have arranged a servic e of modal and cool jazz music as a setting for the contemplative mood of vespers, with unique arrangement of traditional hymns. Susie Wills discovered jazz vespers in Richmond, VA while attending seminary and was inspired to bring this gift to Siesta Key Chapel were she has served as a pastoral intern. Movie Night will tak e place November 18. The Straight Story, starring Richard Farnsworth and Sissy Spacek, chronicles a man’s patient odyssey by tractor to mend his relationship with an ill brother. Saturday evening, November 29, the congregation is invited to participate in the singing of carols at Light Up the Village!
