Big Thank you to the Ongerup Community
Sirkka, Belinda,, Emilia, Kacie, Sue, Gary, Dee and myself would very much like
to extend our sincere appreciation to the people of Ongerup and surrounding
communities for the fantastic and generous support you gave us in celebrating
the life of Kalevi. Words really can’t describe the over whelming feeling to the
people who helped at the pavilion , Wayne and Deb Flint, Jan Slee, the crew
that put the marquee up and took it down. To the staff at the pub, Steph, Deb
and Skiegh Weston, Pete Napier the barbecue master, in the kitchen, Dee and
Chris. Daryl Sclater for getting the fires going. The people that I have left out,

The Shire of Gnowangerup requires a fully qualified heavy duty mechanic, with at least five years’
experience in plant, vehicles and small petrol engines, to join our team. Suitable applicants must possess demonstrated verbal, report writing and computer literacy skills and have experience in managing
a workshop and in procurement and inventory control. Applicants must also show suitability for work
within a team environment and under minimum supervision. Appropriate truck licenses are essential,
HR minimum, HC desirable.

The Shire of Gnowangerup is seeking the services of a team orientated, self-starter with excellent c
ommunication and interpersonal skills to fill the position of Administrative Officer, effective February
2015.
The position is permanent full-time; 76 hours per fortnight for a 15 month contract with excellent
prospects for future full-time employment.
As the Administrative Officer you will be the first point of customer contact for the Shire and should
possess a positive, customer-focused attitude. Interested applicants should possess highly developed
administrative, written and computer skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government Officers (WA) Award, and
dependent on level of experience.
