Missions Trip opportunity to Brazil’s Amazon River people in November
2015: Jesus commanded His disciples to go to the ends of the earth and make
disciples. The Amazon basin is still one of the spiritual strongholds of tribal
religions. We are considering putting together a team of 20 people to spend one
week on a boat on the Amazon in order to provide medical and humanitarian
help. We need doctors, nurses, dentists, optometrist, pharmacist, VBS workers,
and a building/outreach crew. If you are interested or if you know someone
who might be interested, please see Falk Alicke today in the church foyer or
contact him at 307-751-8762.
Every Sunday, there is a casual “no host” lunch at
a local restaurant. This is an informal time for
fellowship and getting to know one another better.
We hope you’ll join us after the 10:50 AM service
(around noon) at the following locations.

ways you can get involved
PACK A GIFT & PRAY. A shoebox filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies
tangibly demonstrates God's love to a child in need. Guides for how to pack a shoebox may
be available at your church, or you can order free materials online at samaritanspurse.org.
Remember to pray that God will touch the heart of every child who receives a shoebox gift, and
that many children and families will come to faith in Jesus Christ
GIVE. We ask for a donation of $7 per box
to cover international shipping and other costs,
but not everyone can afford to send a gift. Your
generosity beyond $7 per shoebox gift will help
us to reach even more children with the true
meaning of Christmas and a tangible expression
of God's amazing love.

Notes of Thanks:
First Baptist Church~
Glenn and I want to express our warmest thanks to all of you, our church family, who prayed us through the ups and downs of
the past month with Glenn’s unexpected heart surgery. The pretty flowers, visits, cards, and just the comfort of knowing there were so
many we could call for help if needed. We truly are blessed to be part of this church family ~ so THANK YOU!
~ Carol & Glenn Bredin ~
Dear FBC Family,
Thank you for “showering” us with such an abundance of “baby essentials”. We received over 2600 diapers and over 3000
wipes! WOW! What a blessing it is to be part of such a generous and loving church family!
~ With Love & Appreciation, Libby & Luke (for the whole Alicke family) ~
Dear FBC Family,
How blessed we are to call this our new home and family in Christ! You have all welcomed us with open arms, encouraging
hearts, and outstretched hands. Thank you for celebrating the arrival of Titus & Evangeline with the gifts, baked goods (yum!), and
kind words.
~ Love, Shane & Becky Rosty~
Dear Church Family,
Thank you for the nice plant sent to me after the death of my brother. I will miss him, and surely appreciate the remembrance
& love expressed to me by you. Our God is so good.
~ Love & Blessings, Donna Miller ~
FBC,
Thank you for the flowers! Your thoughts were greatly appreciated!
~ Your Brother, Ray Frady ~
Dear FBC,
Thank you for thinking of me after my surgery! The flowers were beautiful!
~Sincerely, Karen Kjerstad ~
Dear FBC Sheridan,
What an amazing God we serve, and His work is evident through the ministry that takes place at Camp Bethel! As He
continues to use people & churches like you through your sacrificial giving, lives are forever being changed in the name of Jesus! We
wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the financial gifts you’ve given over the years to support this ministry. From the bottom of my heart I
just want to say “Thank you”. You’re making a big difference for the Kingdom!
~ Your fellow servant, Timothy Huff, Executive Director ~
Dear FBC Family,
Thank you so much for the flowers, food, and prayers after surgery! Your thoughtfulness is such a blessing and I’m thankful
for you!
~ Sincerely, Jill Mitchell ~
