Vingården Fanagoria
Vingården Fanagoria ligger vid Svarta havet, i Krasnodar regionen I Ryssland.
600 år före Kristus byggde grekerna här den antika staden Fanagor.
Sedan grekisk tid är området känt för sin vinproduktion och idag har arkeologerna
hittat flera antika vingårdar i området.
Den nuvarande vinodlingen startade på storskala på 1950-talet då klassiska
vindruvor – Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Clairette importerades från Frankrike. I början
av 2000-talet var mer än 16 000 ton druvor producerade i regionen årligen.
Själva företaget Fanagoria bildades 1957 och är idag den största vinproducenten i
Ryssland. Druvor odlas på gårdar som sträcker sig over 2.5 tusen hektar. Druvor för
premium produkter samlas bara för hand, medan den senaste teknologiska
utrustningen används för övrig produktion. Sötma i våra söta/halvsöta viner är
naturlig.
Det är föga överraskande att viner från Fanagorien har vunnit flera internationella
utmärkelser såsom: 7 Grand Prix, 117 guld medaljer, 118 silver medaljer, 69 brons
och 46 diplom.
Fanagoria producerade viner exporteras idag till USA, Japan, Kina och Israel. Vi på
Tre Svampar är stolta att presentera dessa produkter (totalt 16 artikel) på
Systembolaget och på Stockholm Beer & Whisky festivalen.
Fanagorias historia
1957 – Vingården bildas – En historisk arvtagare till antika staden Fanagoria
1963 – Bygger ut vin och juice produktion, som blir den största i Sovjet Unionen och
näst största i Europa.
1996 – Bildas aktiebolaget Fanagoria Estate Winery, vilka lanserar stora
uppgraderingar av all teknisk utrustning samt startar produktionen av den unika
örtbalsamen ”Fanagoria”

1999 – Den årliga vinproduktionen överstiger 10 millioner liter.
2004 - Öppnade en porslinsproduktion för att producera replica av urgamla amphoras
som flaskor till vinet och balsamet.
2005 – Lanserar premium mousserande vin samt påbörjar export till Japan.
2006-2008 – expanderat vinodlingen med 1230 hektar och uppgraderat teknologier
med utrustning från ”Bucher Vaslin”.
2007 – Lanserat ett vintage vin av premium märket ”Cru Lemont”. Den årliga
produktionen stiger till 20 millioner liter.
2011 – Fanagoria påbörjar exporten till Kina

The wine aroma is very lively, complex, with nuances of berry jam,
dried cherry, red pepper, skin, violet, spice and cedar.
Wine structure is corpulent, taste is intensive, round and fresh with
hints of silk tannins and perky notes of dried cherry and pomegranate.
Aftertaste is long with notes of cherry and spices.
Ages well for the next two years.
This wine is perfectly suited to cold meat appetizers, jamón, pork with
mushroom sauce, lamb with rosemary.
Enjoyed best at 17-18 °C.

Clean, soft aroma of citrus and fruit. The taste is soft, creamy, balanced
with notes of citrus, fruit and a hint of soft acidity.
Finish is with soft spice and mineral notes. This wine is perfect with

The wine aroma is intensive, complex, with nuances of
black currant, fruitcake, spices and cedar.
Wine structure is corpulent, taste intensive, fresh with easy
dominant tannin and lively notes of dried cherry, plum and
tobacco leaf.
Aftertaste is long with tones of berries, currant and
graphite.
This wine is perfectly suited to cold meat appetizers,
carpaccio, pastа "bolognese", beef stake with berry sauce

Chardonnay, was aged for 12 months in a French oak
barrel.
The vineyards of Fanagoria are situated on the same
latitude with the famous Bordeaux region in France. This
wine won the Golden medal award in the Competition
“Wine and drinks” in 2011, Russia.
The aroma is of toast and baked apple. Taste is corpulent
and at the same time gentle. Aftertaste reveals gradually
notes of fig, pear, grapefruit and hazelnut.
Oiliness and aroma of vanilla testifies to dominating
presence of an oak and strong acidity characterizes it as
gastronomic wine.
Recommended to enjoy with grilled fish, the baked
mussels, octopus or roasted rabbit .
Enjoyed best at 13-15 °C.

variety Saperavi, was aged for 12 months in a French oak
barrel. The vineyards of Fanagoria are situated on the

This dark ruby red wine has an intensive aroma of black
currant, plum, sweet cherry and cream while giving subtle
notes of black pepper, tobacco and smoke. The taste is
corpulent and round with silk tannins and lively rainbow
of black berries as well as notes of east spices. The wine
has a long finish with tones of plum and tobacco.
The wine ages well for the next four years. This wine is
perfectly suited to cold meat appetizers, jamón, prosciutto
or grilled pork.

This dark-ruby red wine has an intense and complex

Moderate and long finish with notes of strawberry.

This is a delicious ice wine made of Muscat grapes. The vineyards

of ripe grapes, melon, peach, summer honey and a perky mineral
note.

Long aftertaste has an acidity of green apple and slightly bitter

The bitter is crafted as Fanagoria’s patented
invention.
The base of our bitter is Chinese date
(jojoba) fruit.
The balsam contains natural vitamin complex
and biologically active substances extracted
from 26 medicinal herbs – medlar, St. John’s
wort, calendula, lime flowers, lemon balm
and others.
The careful, manual collection and tender
handling of the herbs is important to keep the
useful plant properties.
Enjoyed best at 15 °C.

Bitter Balsam Red Glade

The balsam is made of the extracts from 33
herbs (medlar, St. John’s wort, calendula,
lime flowers, lemon balm, etc.) and Chinese
date (jojoba) fruit.
The plants are collected by hand on the
slopes of the Caucasian ridge in vicinities of
the Black sea. The careful collection and
tender handling is important to keep the
useful plant properties.
The balsam is peculiar for its complex flavor
and bitterish-spicy taste. Enjoyed best at 15
°C.
